Love my classic Gen3 G17L with the lightened slide. Stock trigger pull is 3 lbs because the factory installed the 3.5lb. trigger connector. Broken in and lubricated its a very nice trigger . A shame that the Gen 5 does not have the lightened, slotted slide, but it gained optic cut and front sarrations. Mine is a keep forever pistol. 6.02" barrel goodness.
I can definitely understand that! I've been thinking of building a competition G17L with the Nomad Defense Frame. Just trying to figure out all the little parts to it.
@@jordanvillani1585 hey man, we were running 124 grain AAC. For longer barrel pistols I typically go heavier grain due to the recoil spring weight the factory set. Sometimes those springs are too heavy, so it slams the slide back too fast for the rounds to feed right.
Thank you for watching! As of this moment we have not gotten our hands on the DR920L. I have shot other Shadow System models though, and they do very well. They feel like custom built Glocks due to all the work they put into them. The high beaver tail on the grips is one of the better parts of the grip, I like. Hope to have our hands on one in the future, so we can compare it with other Glock clones. Primarily PSA Dagger, Shadow System, and the Grit Grip frames.
Well the only aluminum frame for Glock I’ve seen is from Matrix Arms, and it’s 3lbs. I don’t know if it’s compatible with Gen 5 G17L slides though. I think if they were though, it would be roughly 4lbs.

By chance, what kind of ammo were you running on it? I was using Winchester 9 mill 115 FMJ on mine and was having some feeding issues.

I bought a new Gen 5 G17L a few weeks ago. POS jams every 3rd round!

@@OrionCorsari for all the videos we’ve done so far, with pistol calibers, we’ve used AAC 115gr and 147gr FMJ.
You don't state any facts about your pistol. We're sure it didn't come out of the box malfunctioning. What did you do to cause the malfunction?
