And I think ever mother that keeps a child of rape is a better person than I am. I am a person who was raped but I was unable to get pregnant because I was 5 years old. I think if you were born a female you might loosen the time constraints just a wee bit! What if it was your 11 year old daughter? I like your respect for life but you might want to respect the females future life also. That's why I think early term is okay but late turm abortion is not because it can live outside of the womb.
my mom gave birth to me when she was in her 20s. The idea of abortion was brought to her attention. Instead, she chose to give me the chance at life and put me up for adoption. I'm all for adoption......if you don't want or think you can support a child, do it. Put the child up for adoption. (I'm now fortunate enough to have reunited with my biological family and will be going to meet my mom and sister in January.)
Do you know how hard it is to adopt? Like how insanely costly and difficult that is? It’s easy to foster; adopting a kid is something that 99.99% of people cannot afford to undertake because the cost of navigating the process is crazy high.

I attended my mother’s funeral seven years ago. I knew everyone in the viewing, all but four people. Upon being introduced, these four people stood in front of me, and collectively told me “We are here, because our mother, ran into your mother before walking in and having us aborted..” my mind will never change on this subject.

His "mind" is just misdirection and bad faith arguments. His entire argument is that abortion is evil, but who is he to say that abortion is evil? His opinion comes from his religion, but the Jewish faith supports and even requires abortion in certain situations. It does not consider an unborn child as life. His entire position is based on an emotional position of advocating for potential rather than the already living. He preys on young people in college that are still trying to develop their opinions where as he has made this his life's work. He's far more prepared to have these conversations and "win" even though he isn't actually arguing his point. He's misdirecting his argument in order to appear as though he is right. Right out of the gate, the first two arguments of this video about abortion, he tries to equate telling women what they can do with their bodies to slavery and unborn children to comatose adults. Those are not the same things. They are not even closely related enough to make the analogy he is trying to make. Yet he makes the analogy because he can win against the slavery argument and he can win against the comatose argument, but he can't win against pro-choice. His mind isn't exceptional. It's manipulative.

@@jeremym8490 A vast majority of abortions are because the pregnancy is unviable. It seems that the majority of pregnancies that are aborted as a form of birth control are committed by the very men and women in office trying to ban abortion. It costs a lot of money for an abortion. So in something like 98% of cases, the abortion isn't killing a baby. It was already dead or will die before it can be born. Nearly all of those cases are aborted to save the mother's life and/or save her reproductive organs. The only time a baby is being aborted that could have been a life is when some rich asshole doesn't want to ruin their career/life. So, if you think that abortion is that evil, how about voting out the assholes trying to ban it. They're not saving any lives. They're only killing women.
This was my personal view, my kids (technically the oldest) saved me. A choice was made and because of my child I chose to change my life direction away from drugs and alcohol. I tell them how great it is to be a dad with receipts. I can't imagine what life would be without them.

Every day that we wake up we make choices everything we weigh the scale of Life against is considered a pro-choice. Clearly with the number of addicts we have you would think that many of them chose to become addicts. The "conservative" party claims to believe in maximizing freedoms, yet they're all about trampling all over the freedoms of women. They claim it is to protect the freedoms of the unborn, yet the unborn have no freedoms to begin with. They are not life. There is nothing in the US law, anywhere, that protects or provides any freedoms for the unborn. Never mind the fact that giving the unborn any freedoms would be removing freedoms away from the mothers that are forced to carry them. The entire premise of maximizing freedoms includes not diminishing the freedoms of others first and foremost. So by trying to grant freedoms to the unborn, you first have to take away from the already living, which goes against the whole concept. A concept, by the way, that is called liberalism. Something that the modern conservative party is deeply rooted in. But that's a whole other conversation.
I think a lot of these young people would change their minds if they experienced the miracle of the birth of their own child. When I delivered my daughter the room got brighter and I felt like I had just experienced a miracle and I suddenly knew the real meaning of life. 💕

I don't agree with this counter argument, but the counter argument is If a family isn't ready for a child they abort it, let's say 6 months later feel ready enough to have the child. I had 3 abortions in my life, because of financial or personal situations. I was convinced that if you do it at 2 or 3 weeks pregnant was ok because there was not a baby but a bunch of cells inside my body. Years passed and started to study myself in a spiritual way I knew then that I killed 3 potential human beings. I was ignorant and arrogant and I thought that I was right. Now that I know the truth I feel a tremendous guilt and I think of those babies and I'm terrified of my decisions. I'm older now and I understand. Hope God can forgive me, because it hard for me to do so.

At the moment people are repeating history by doing what is right in their own eyes. Like it says in the Old Testament. My prayers will always be them both for protection and wisdom. as a Swede in Sweden where our rules are much different and easier, I would recommend America to switch to the same system as we have in Sweden because that would immediately end this ridiculous "debate" about abortions (here ANYONE can regardless of what has happened have an abortion if they want up to a maximum of week 18) and after that it becomes very complicated with a special application to an authority where there must be very serious reasons why it would be approved (although we don't even have anywhere near the same amount of abortions as you have over there because it has become a bit like a simple cheap way out instead of actually controlling a little better what and who you have sex with in order to reduce the risk to get pregnant)

And how does he know when consciousness begins? When does pain, discomfort, and thoughts begin? Before a human is born from the womb, what is it that makes the baby move inside the womb? Could it be thought? Does the unborn baby feel uncomfortable and then therefore repositioning itself, stretching, or kicking? I grew up Catholic and understand the pro life perspective; that said, being Christian or Catholic isn’t just about babies being born-Shapiro is not out here calling for enhanced social services or funding into education enrichment programs; he does not want foster care to be overhauled so kids don’t get used for a check while they are - too often but obviously not always - neglected and abused-He just wants babies to be born. He doesn’t care about the kids who are coming to the US alone fleeing violence and famine. He just wants to know the baby was born. Thats it. And there is nothing Christlike about wanting people to - in some cases where there are medical complications - place their lives at risk only to then tell them “it’s on you.” (Because where was that energy when a mom with diabetes was being told to risk her life so that she can have another baby, potentially die, and then leave four instead of three kids without a mom?)

Example time. If someone stabs me and I got mad about it but did nothing or couldn't do anything. As a result I go stab someone else because the other person stabbed me. No one socially or politically would say I had the right to do that. In principle, that's exactly what a woman who is raped is doing when she aborts the baby. It's killing the innocent for a crime they didn't commit because they were angry and frustrated by what someone else did to them. The law is justifying misplaced anger and frustration. In no other scenario is this legal.

It seem the main problem life argument is tht child is a blessing but tht just a assumption no one knows if tht kid will be a productive member or society. Conception is the line. If a woman wants an abortion she should have thought about that before she got pregnant. In the case of rape or incest, the baby is still innocent. Realize that you will have to face your maker for your choices. There is a reason for absolutely everything.
Murder is illegal but in a small % of situations like a battered woman over time who sees no way out and in a moment of crisis retaliates ending in the death of her abuser, she is not found guilty. There are also a few instances when the termination of a pregnancy could be deemed appropriate but it shouldn't be a form of birth control due to irresponsibility of 1 or 2 people and that's what the vast majority of abortions have become to the point of many being passive about what's taking place.
It's crazy that any person would believe that they have a good argument over killing babies. If you are religious or not a decent human being thinks killing a child is horrible so what type of persons think murdering a child is ok... I don’t ever hear people talk about the beginning of the scenario when the woman jumped into the bed and knew she made a mistake. What if I wanted to get drunk but jumped into a car but took a life of a little kid crossing the road. At the end of the scenario it’s your responsibility. Jump in bed or car after that it’s your responsibility.
When a female is rape or experiences incest, wouldn’t she get tested soon and often for pregnancy? Most all states that make abortion illegal gives the exception up to 15 weeks which is almost 4 months. If raped/incest, the female has plenty of time to become aware that she is pregnant. Could it be that she just changed her mind and doesn’t want the responsibility of raising a child?
What I noticed different is the fact that legal abortions have been around since the 1970's in New York, and no one educated women, or called them murderers until recently. I think more lives would of been saved if back then pregnant women heard the heart beat at 6 weeks old, or saw a sonogram of their babies. Abortion was viewed differently back then and the stigma of being an unwed mother was more then the abortion making it more acceptable, still it is a selfish act of murder.
Isn't it pretty immoral to force every unwanted child to live, regardless of the fact that many will end up unloved and neglected, just to protect yourself from feeling like a bad person? Once someone figures out what to do with all the kids being forced onto an already extremely overpopulated planet maybe I can afford to worry so much about how it makes me FEEL (not to mention the hordes of children that are ALREADY born and living hellish lives in orphanages, foster homes, etc.)
What are your thoughts on the health of the mother? Let me explain, if the baby is broght to term, there is no way for the baby to be born and live, nor the mother live as well. Inverted topical pregnancy or something like that. If the baby grows they both die, if aborted the mother lives? My opinion is, if there is no way for the baby to be born, 100% no chance, abort and let the mother try again. I think that is my thoughts, I keep going back and forth on this one issue.
There are videos of Shapiro's that I was not pleased with, given no one is perfect, I don't hold it against him. In this video though, what stood out to me was how much he enjoys having this conversation. You can tell he that he enjoys going through these questions and really defining things and making sure he understands their view and then he answers. That enjoyment of talking about these hard topics may come across badly to some people, but to me is illustrates a level of confidence and based on his answers, he seems to genuinely care about the sanctity of life. I really liked seeing his patient approach. I met my birth family five years ago and we are pretty close. My brother, sister, uncle and cousin. My parents died and one sister died. I love them.

@@jeremym8490 A vast majority of abortions are because the pregnancy is unviable. It seems that the majority of pregnancies that are aborted as a form of birth control are committed by the very men and women in office trying to ban abortion. It costs a lot of money for an abortion.
So in something like 98% of cases, the abortion isn't killing a baby. It was already dead or will die before it can be born. Nearly all of those cases are aborted to save the mother's life and/or save her reproductive organs.
The only time a baby is being aborted that could have been a life is when some rich asshole doesn't want to ruin their career/life.

This was my personal view, my kids (technically the oldest) saved me. A choice was made and because of my child I chose to change my life direction away from drugs and alcohol. I tell them how great it is to be a dad with receipts. I can't imagine what life would be without them.

Every day that we wake up we make choices everything we weigh the scale of Life against is considered a pro-choice. Clearly with the number of addicts we have you would think that many of them chose to become addicts. We know that the over prescription by the medical industry is a large reason why those people are addicts. However the alcohol industry is a big contributor of the homeless population. The "conservative" party claims to believe in maximizing freedoms, yet they're all about trampling all over the freedoms of women. They claim it is to protect the freedoms of the unborn, yet the unborn have no freedoms to begin with. They are not life. There is nothing in the US law, anywhere, that protects or provides any freedoms for the unborn. Never mind the fact that giving the unborn any freedoms would be removing freedoms away from the mothers that are forced to carry them. The entire premise of maximizing freedoms includes not diminishing the freedoms of others first and foremost. So by trying to grant freedoms to the unborn, you first have to take away from the already living, which goes against the whole concept. A concept, by the way, that is called liberalism. Something that the modern conservative party is deeply rooted in. But that's a whole other conversation.
I think a lot of these young people would change their minds if they experienced the miracle of the birth of their own child. When I delivered my daughter the room got brighter and I felt like I had just experienced a miracle and I suddenly knew the real meaning of life. 💕

I had 3 abortions in my life, because of financial or personal situations. I was convinced that if you do it at 2 or 3 weeks pregnant was ok because there was not a baby but a bunch of cells inside my body. Years passed and started to study myself in a spiritual way I knew then that I killed 3 potential human beings. I was ignorant and arrogant and I thought that I was right. Now that I know the truth I feel a tremendous guilt and I think of those babies and I'm terrified of my decisions. I'm older now and I understand. Hope God can forgive me, because it hard for me to do so.

as a Swede in Sweden where our rules are much different and easier, I would recommend America to switch to the same system as we have in Sweden because that would immediately end this ridiculous "debate" about abortions (here ANYONE can regardless of what has happened have an abortion if they want up to a maximum of week 18) and after that it becomes very complicated with a special application to an authority where there must be very serious reasons why it would be approved (although we don't even have anywhere near the same amount of abortions as you have over there because it has become a bit like a simple cheap way out instead of actually controlling a little better what and who you have sex with in order to reduce the risk to get pregnant)

Say a woman was pregnant with twins; but only wanted one of them. By their own words, this woman could have the first twin, but instead of waiting for the second child (which could come as soon as 2 minutes after the first ) could ask the doctor to just kill the second one.
I have relative that worked in a hospital and a woman came in to get an abortion and she was six months pregnant and when the baby came out it took a breath and it cried. They were told to take it and put it in a bedpan in a closet to let it die. She quit her job that day.

My step father died years ago, he had a heart attack at night and become braindead and where put into a coma.

I grew up Catholic and understand the pro life perspective; that said, being Christian or Catholic isn’t just about babies being born-Shapiro is not out here calling for enhanced social services or funding into education enrichment programs; he does not want foster care to be overhauled so kids don’t get used for a check while they are - too often but obviously not always - neglected and abused-He just wants babies to be born. He doesn’t care about the kids who are coming to the US alone fleeing violence and famine. He just wants to know the baby was born. Thats it. And there is nothing Christlike about wanting people to - in some cases where there are medical complications - place their lives at risk only to then tell them “it’s on you.” (Because where was that energy when a mom with diabetes was being told to risk her life so that she can have another baby, potentially die, and then leave four instead of three kids without a mom?)
I don't believe that a child created from rape will be loved properly.. they will be a reminder of this horrible act that happened to someone.. However I also believe that that should be the only instance that allows you to cross the abortion line.. When I was younger and wasn't ready to be a father I felt very different about abortion.. However now I am a father of 2 and this has changed my views on abortion drastically.

No one socially or politically would say I had the right to do that. In principle, that's exactly what a woman who is raped is doing when she aborts the baby. Conception is the line. If a woman wants an abortion she should have thought about that before she got pregnant. In the case of rape or incest, the baby is still innocent. Realize that you will have to face your maker for your choices. There is a reason for absolutely everything.
Murder is illegal but in a small % of situations like a battered woman over time who sees no way out and in a moment of crisis retaliates ending in the death of her abuser, she is not found guilty. There are also a few instances when the termination of a pregnancy could be deemed appropriate but it shouldn't be a form of birth control due to irresponsibility of 1 or 2 people and that's what the vast majority of abortions have become to the point of many being passive about what's taking place.

I don’t ever hear people talk about the beginning of the scenario when the woman jumped into the bed and knew she made a mistake. What if I wanted to get drunk but jumped into a car but took a life of a little kid crossing the road. At the end of the scenario it’s your responsibility. Jump in bed or car after that it’s your responsibility.
When a female is rape or experiences incest, wouldn’t she get tested soon and often for pregnancy? Most all states that make abortion illegal gives the exception up to 15 weeks which is almost 4 months. If raped/incest, the female has plenty of time to become aware that she is pregnant. Could it be that she just changed her mind and doesn’t want the responsibility of raising a child?

What I noticed different is the fact that legal abortions have been around since the 1970's in New York, and no one educated women, or called them murderers until recently. I think more lives would of been saved if back then pregnant women heard the heart beat at 6 weeks old, or saw a sonogram of their babies. Abortion was viewed differently back then and the stigma of being an unwed mother was more then the abortion making it more acceptable, still it is a selfish act of murder.
Isn't it pretty immoral to force every unwanted child to live, regardless of the fact that many will end up unloved and neglected, just to protect yourself from feeling like a bad person? Once someone figures out what to do with all the kids being forced onto an already extremely overpopulated planet maybe I can afford to worry so much about how it makes me FEEL (not to mention the hordes of children that are ALREADY born and living hellish lives in orphanages, foster homes, etc.)

What are your thoughts on the health of the mother? Let me explain, if the baby is broght to term, there is no way for the baby to be born and live, nor the mother live as well. Inverted topical pregnancy or something like that. If the baby grows they both die, if aborted the mother lives? My opinion is, if there is no way for the baby to be born, 100% no chance, abort and let the mother try again. I think that is my thoughts, I keep going back and forth on this one issue.

There are videos of Shapiro's that I was not pleased with, given no one is perfect, I don't hold it against him. In this video though, what stood out to me was how much he enjoys having this conversation. You can tell he that he enjoys going through these questions and really defining things and making sure he understands their view and then he answers. That enjoyment of talking about these hard topics may come across badly to some people, but to me is illustrates a level of confidence and based on his answers, he seems to genuinely care about the sanctity of life. I really liked seeing his patient approach. For that first one, I would ask her: “Are you Ukrainian? Are you Russian? Are you in Eastern Europe? No? Are you against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine?
