Such good content Tony. Seems like you have been so dialed in lately. No other content creater is bringing this kind of info. I wish nothing but the best and count me in for signing up for you paid option on TGD
@@jamief1263 Yea they reduced the number of shots but it takes like 18 shots to kill that only reduced it to 17 shots if the number of shots is super high and you don’t reduced it by a good amount the buff was useless when you have other guns that are just as accurate that kill in less shots now if every gun takes M13 time to kill it becomes a really good gun
Great points! Another big factor for average or below average players is recoil, damage output & ttk doesn't matter if you can't hit those shots, which is why guns like the M13 remain popular & can compete with higher damage output guns
Great info today as always! I feel like this helps explain why it feels like your “meta” weapon gets out gunned some times. Keep up the great work, fan for life!
I'm loving this original and high value content Tony! Such a nice change to other content creators that put clickbait "the new fast killing gun" or "zero recoil" type videos out just for the sake of posting a video
There's an error at 1:42. The ttk isn't twice as long, but only 50% extra. If it takes 120ms to fire two bullets, surely it takes only 180ms to fire three? And again, at 400 health, IF it adds only one extra shot to kill, it's only additional 60ms. What am I missing?
Glad to see this breakdown. I have always used your dps values rather than the TTKs for my WZ builds because I tend to build on the basis of fighting opponents with full health (250). Since I am not the most accurate shooter (by far lol) knowing that missing shots skews TTKs so much I tended to rely more on the dps values. However, your explanation for using TTKs for lower health, and closer opponents has left me to do some thinking on my smg builds.
Im Confused. if a gun kills in 2 Shots and it takes 120ms. then the gun that kills at 3 Shots should be 180ms instead of 240 no? Wouldnt 240ms be 4 Shots?
You count the time from _after_ the first bullet is fired. Thus for 2 shots you calculate how long it takes for 1 bullet to go, after the first one has been fired. That means 3 shots you calculate for 2 bullets to be fired, and is such double the value of 2 bullets fired.
@@Rosineren Why not count the time for the first bullet to be fired as well if the first bullet is necessary to kill the target? If it takes 10 bullets for 1 gun to kill and 11 bullets for a different gun to kill we don't begin counting after the 10th bullet is fired.
@@Rosineren doesnt that give you inconsitencies when you want to compare 1 Bullet vs 2 bullets. i mean yes 1 Bullet is basically Instantly aside of BV but I feel like its just weird to not count the first one

If you use Frangible perk that slow health regen How long enemy will suppressed waiting their HP to regen ? I know it around twice ?!? (5.5 to 11s on multiplayer) on Iron trials it will be like ? 20s ? since TTK is less powerfull on higher HP, a "debuff" gunperk might be quite interesting to try
This is great info to think through! In addition to (or as part of?) your advanced ttk calculator, I'd love to see "real world" ttks for guns. i.e. going through gameplay and determining an average real world ttk. I think that'd be super interesting to compare against the standard ttk charts! You'd have to get similar sets of footage from a few different players but essentially you're looking at the average number of shots missed before landing the kill. Maybe clips where the players see an enemy first and aren't getting shot to make it as clean as possible?
Great video! when I started playing cod I was surprised everybody talked about ttk and not the actual dmg the gun does. btw. 4:46 you don't really play solos, do you? they could change the name of the mode to 3rd party BR.
Another thing to consider when looking at TTK, the Time we see in the charts are "best case scenarios". To be more realistic with the TTK expectation we should only compute for stomach and chest hits.
JackFrags sent me over here from a recent video. Apex servers shit the bed and have been bad for a couple seasons now. Im back on Warzone and can't wait to use what you have to teach here and implement it in game. Keep grinding. ✌

Thanks as always TGD. you the real MVP!
Thank you for the content! What low recoil gun would you recommend for ghost loadout using mouse and keyboard? Using M13 now as you talked about in a video some time ago, I know XM4 is also a good option
@@tomorpedreiro3032 grau kills faster than the xm4 all the way up to 50 meters. So, it kills faster for the majority of fights. Then it's far more accurate at long range. I have over a 3kd and just put up a nice 25 kill win with the grau. I'm willing to bet you're the bot between us.
I like the video and agree with the premise. Math is off for the ttk calculations though. Would be 240ms for gun 1 and gun 2 and then 360ms for gun 3 against 100 health. Obviously makes no sense to be twice as quick for 2 bullets compared to 3 bullets.
A 1 shot kill would have a 0ms ttk (unless you include bullet velocity) 120ms is the time between shots in this example. so 1st shot fires then 120ms later 2nd shot fires then 120ms later 3rd shot fires etc. So there is no delay before the first shot but for every subsequent shot there is a 120ms delay. 1 shot kill = 0ms 2 shot kill = 120ms 3 shot kill = 240ms
The first bullet is basically counted as 0. Because the first bullet is fired as soon as you push a button. The time between bullets starts after the first bullet. So, the second bullet is after the first break between shots, the third bullet being after the second break between shots. That’s why it’s double.
The explains my feelings towards the PKM. I'd see the insane ttk's and feel like I gotta try it. But then in practice it felt worse than my favorite gun (Bruen). Dps is actually lower than the Bruen after 50m. Makes a lot of sense now.
I always felt PKM was better personally but it has more initial visual kick. DPS only matters if they have little to no armor. Most important factor isn't ttk or DPS however, as if you miss only 1 bullet and different part of the body your TTK/ DPS goes down dramatically so accuracy is still the most important factor. There's a reason why every dominant Warzone gun ever had low recoil but not necessarily best TTK
The pkm and bruen do the same damage in their second drop off, 28 to the body, 42 to the head, but the pkm has a slight neck multiplier and does 30 dmg there. Bruen is at 752 rpm, pkm is 750, you just aren’t going to notice the like 1 dps difference. What you might notice is that is the bruen is much more accurate than the pkm, less horizontal and visual recoil, so you’ll be hitting more shots more likely.
Nun of Dat matters if your centering is not on point..u can slide bunny hop a corner all u want u still gonna loose Dat fight if there's sumone there nd your centering is not on point..
