Your cord container is a great idea! My gadgets have evolved as the USB plugs have evolved so I have 4-5 different wire combinations. The beauty of the side car is the ability to carry enough “stuff” to be comfortable, your load looks very reasonable to me. My CT is my motocamping vehicle of choice and my load probably isn’t as well thought out as yours. Thanks for posting
thanks for getting back on the gas can thing. i'm trying to decide where to put a new can. was thinking removing the shovel on the side car and bolt on the can there. i never understood why anybody puts shovels bolted on the outside of vehicles ,just to rust up. ill probably do what you did and remove the shovel
Good idea. I have a fold up Gerber shovel in the trunk just in case. It is good to have the extra gas. I almost ran out going across Nevada once after using the original gas can, so I decided it was important to gave two cans.
Thanks for watching! Fire extinguisher = good idea. I think I will install one and do a video on it. You can make tube rims tubeless by sealing up around the spokes. Lots of RUclips videos on it. Not sure if the Duros or Heidenau tires would play fair though.
It should be close... I have lighter things in the nose of the sidecar (camping pillow, quilt, air mattress etc) and put the heavier things (cooler, bag of power banks, chair etc) in the middle and on the seat, and the trunk has the usual junk in it. I try to keep spare room in the trunk just in case. I did put some water in the trunk, maybe a gallon or a gallon and a half. I do try and keep things balanced per Davids video on proper loading.
Hi Ken - no… it doesn’t rattle. I am using a heavy duty strap on it. After setting off, I will need to tighten it one notch after a while, but after that it stays very tight. However, the most I have ever used before a gas station is two of the three cans I carry on long trips. It might be redundant, but I would rather have that instead of running out. Total gas is 5 gal + 3 x 2 1/2 gal for a total of 12 1/2 gal of gas. That should get me 375 miles at 30mpg!
Hi Ken - yes. I have an extra 10 liter gas can on the other side of the sidecar where the shovel was. If the trip is long, I can strap another 10 liter can to the side step of the sidecar.
A lot of good ideas UJ! I'm looking to place a fire extinguisher in my daily carry.
Good idea. I will do that too when I get home!

That’s for sure - if you think you kind of might need it, just throw it in the trunk!
You are one prepared man Allen. Thx ....

Have you checked your weight distribution? Are you in the recommended ranges of 70% passenger area, 20% trunk and 10% nose?
