The second part in your video is not the "Closing Credits" music, but the music, when Luke is turned into a human again. You can hear it because of the wooden xylophone sound for example at timecode 3:05. The Closing Credits don't have these sounds. But great music anyway.
Unfortunately, its impossible to isolate the entire score without some noisy and fx sounds in the main montage. I hope Intrada/LaLaLand release an expanded/complete remastered edition.
Thank you! There is no an official release of the music. I took the music for the video from different sources - other yt videos and an audio capture from the DVD version of the film. I used Adobe Audition for trying to repair and maximize the quality of the sound.
Same! I can quote it start to finish! I love it!! It's the perfect blend of fantasy and horror! Beauty mixed with beast. Done so flawlessly! These woman were absolutely fabulously nasty! And as a kid I didn't fear them but i did think they were fierce!
Not that I know much about anything of real life witches in real life. With actually knowning a good witch, said she was. Last name Scoontes, in the Navy we called her scoots. Can definitely say she was one of the good ones.
Angelica Huston so deserved an Oscar for this role
She doesn't deserved an Oscar the Oscar deserved her🎉🎉
It sounds like a mixture of Halloween 🎃 and Christmas 🎄
Yeah dude 🎃🎄
Soundtrack to my childhood!
The remake is absolutely nothing compared to this.
I agree. Still a fun watch, though. However every aspect is inferior to the OG
Was anyone really expecting greatness, c'mon :) As much as Roald Dahl despised the 1990 film, the 1990 original will forever remain supreme :)
Just watched the original on Netflix!
@@andrewtodaro2874 did u like it, Andrew?
@@Olemansummer loved it! ☺️
This film is better than the new 2020 reboot
The film is wonderful including the happy ending.
The book was much darker. Poor Bruno was drowned and Luke stays a mouse.
@@XXLSSBBW i know i read it. The irony of the 2020 film version, it tries to stay true to the book, but it didn't do very well
@@AH-is5yg The director probably wasn't a fan. He may have read it, but for his child.
@@XXLSSBBW guess the 1990 film did well because it had practical effects and puppets
Everything about this film is perfect, including the magnificent soundtrack.
1990 score= Light Hearted
2020= Darker tone
Although ironically...
1990 movie= Darker tone
2020 movie= Lighter tone
This is one of my favorite movies to watch for Halloween!
THS OST IS AS GOLD AS THE MOVIE ITSELF WHICH IS ALSO GOLD

I cant help but "cackle" when i hear this part of the song! Angelica Huston was amazing!
Great job with the restoration Luis! ❤
The 30th Anniversary of THE WITCHES is here!
Thank you!! I wish I could find on iTunes
Ich liebe diese musik... Ich liebe den film... Mann, damals hatten die filme noch charme, ausgestattet mit bleibender filmmusik..

practical effects>cgi
The new movie is alright, but this one will always be superior
The music is good as well.
@@TwilightLink77 So true! Also, I can't believe it's already been 8 months...
Alright!?!?
Great job! Thank You
@Luis Sandoval Thank you for this! With your software, are you able to isolate and completely capture the entire film's score?
Unfortunately, its impossible to isolate the entire score without some noisy and fx sounds in the main montage. I hope Intrada/LaLaLand release an expanded/complete remastered edition.
Fantastic! Where'd you get this? Was a soundtrack ever released?
Thank you!

This has similar style as Matilda's (Another movie adaption of Roald Dahl's work) soundtracks, also it has The Sims 1 and The Sims 3 vibes.
One of my favorite movies S2

1:34 - "A-HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!"
Did you have access to the multitrack master tapes?
Unfortunately, no. Its just a pick-up from different sources and excerpts from RUclips.
