  • Let's make a healthy banana oats bread/cake
    I have 1 and 1/2 cup of rolled oats, Grind the oats into powder
    Add 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1tsp baking powder
    2pinch salt
    Sieve them all to make your cake soft and fluffy
    Wet ingredients
    1cup butter(in room temperature)
    1tsp vanilla essence
    1/4 cup whole milk in room temperature
    2 eggs(either you can add them as whole)
    OR
    Separate the egg white and add the yolk first
    Add 2 or more bananas mashed
    You can add sugar/honey now if you like(1cup)
    For this recipe, you can mix all ingredients in a grinder/mixer as well
    Beat the egg white to make it light for the cake to be spongy
    Add the egg white into the prepared ingredients and combine well
    Now add the powdered oats into the wet ingredients and mix well
    You can add dry fruits /nuts as you desire
    Preheat the oven at 180 degree for 10mins
    Transfer the batter into a cake tin lined with butter paper and greased
    Tap the tin to let air bubbles escape
    Bake the cake in a 180 degree oven for 45 to 50mins
    In a closed pan cook on low to medium heat for 55mins
    Let the cake cool and it is ready to be enjoyed, it is moist, soft and fluffy.
