      @@MilowBrown Gotta be truthful to the people right? The motto around here is 'come on vacation and end up staying on probation'. The policies around here hurt the victim and reward the criminal. Already had to search and recover my own stolen vehicle too. Cop looked at me like sorry man I can't do nothing. I told him 'you know what that means then right?' He said, 'yes, yes I do' as he looked at his feet. 2 hours later he (cop) had to show up to the recovery scene. I found the guy at a gas station and 'recovered' my vehicle. Cop was surprised it was so quick. Like he didn't realize that if he got right on it the car wouldn't be too far away, duh.

    Seattle is Haunted by the Ghosts of Grunge

    • @globalexplorer7799
      @globalexplorer7799  Год назад

      Hey there! Seattle definitely holds a special place in music history as the birthplace of grunge. Bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam helped define the grunge sound and put Seattle on the map.
      While grunge is a significant part of Seattle's cultural heritage, the city has so much more to offer. From stunning natural landscapes to a thriving arts scene, Seattle has something for everyone.
      When you visit Seattle, be sure to explore Pike Place Market, check out the Space Needle for amazing views, and dive into the local food and coffee culture. And of course, don't miss out on the live music scene, where you can still catch bands paying homage to the grunge era.
      So yes, Seattle embraces its grunge legacy, but it's also a city that continues to evolve and captivate visitors with its unique charm and diverse experiences.

    I live in Washington State, here's an UPDATE: ALL taxes are way too high; gas prices are the highest in the country; this a progressive/communist state and therefore crime is out of control, cost of living is very high, shootings everyday in King, Pierce, Thurston, etc. counties and elsewhere; road rage is a daily event. Washington State is a lumber capital yet the cost of home construction is out of reach for most residents. Competition for 'living-wage' jobs is extremely high so expect to wait at least 6 months (or as long as 18 months +) to land that job. Traffic is horrendous 24/7 due to the number of people who have moved here. High population has drove up prices on everything and lowered the standard of living for all Washington State residents. Example: a run-down shack of a home goes for $450,000 or more!!! Which is why the homeless population has grown exponentially over the last few years. Developers and politicians are destroying the natural beauty and displacing the wild life of Washington State in order to build large apartment complexes with no end in site...it's heartbreaking!!! DON'T MOVE TO WASHINGTON STATE!!!! We do not need anymore population growth!

      I understand that you may have a different perspective on Seattle's vibrancy, and it's okay to have differing opinions. Many people do consider Seattle to be a vibrant city due to its thriving arts and culture scene, diverse neighborhoods, and bustling tech industry. The city is home to numerous music festivals, theaters, museums, and a lively food scene. However, I respect your viewpoint, and it's important to acknowledge that everyone's experiences and preferences may vary. If you have any other suggestions for vibrant cities in the US, I'd love to hear them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

      @@globalexplorer7799 Well, you have certainly earned my respect with your reply. As you can likely infer, I am both disgusted and angry at what these no-brained individuals have done to my city. It has been teetering on the edge for many years, beginning in earnest, I believe, with our ousted ex-Mayor Ped, I mean Ed over a decade ago and it has progressively (pun intended) gotten worse.
      The denial is infuriating and I sincerely believe that either our elections (local, state, federal, ALL) are so corrupt or citizens are so brainwashed and/or afraid to say what they think, that there is no gentle way out of this. Either there is going to be a righteous uprising (non violent I pray) to eject the idjuts and criminals or the remainder of sane people in western WA will pack up and leave it to the rodents and swine. Nineth chances aren't gonna cut it and crack vending machines wilp not make up for the tax revenue happily being paid to Idaho and Montana.
      Thank you again for being a reasonable voice, but I truly feel it dangerous and a bit disingenuous to gloss over the ugly truth in ANY way. Let 'er rip, warts and all, God Save my once great state and nation.
