Oh, that's so sweet, Jeri! I don't believe in the whole green thumb/black thumb thing. I've killed lots of plants and watched a lot of plants thrive. I think it's all about learning about different plants, what works well in your area, and giving the plants regular attention to check on their needs. A green thumb was learned for me, not a given! If it makes you feel any better, my hanging planters in front of my house died two years in a row because I was neglectful, then I did fake flowers in them for a couple years, and this year I finally have some gorgeous real ones that are thriving! (The key for me was getting much larger hanging baskets that hold more soil, that way the soil doesn't dry out so quickly!)
