Wow - that's neat. I have heard that the old army apartments that I lived in has been demolished, but the old american school still exists - now as a German School.
This looks like a Brazilian bread "Pão francês" Even the texture of the inside looks the same.
I'll have to look for some if I ever get the chance to visit Brazil.
