Thanks Fatma, single shot blocks for breast surgery usually last a good 24hours. I tend to use lidocaine with as adrenaline as a “seeker” solution, and then inject pure Levobupi- so not sure how much the adrenaline prolongs my blocks. I have no experience with perineural dexa, but do always inject it i.v. - so not really answered your question! Sorry!
I have not had any experience of using liposomal bupivacaine at all. For now, I am keeping it truly simple and injecting LA Alone, but would be very interesting in seeing what Liposomal Bupivacaine would add to single shot blocks
