  • Visiting the Whyalla Museum in South Australia , they had a large HO scale layout depicting areas in the surrounding Australian Outback. Fully automated locomotive control, and "double sided" scenery made it a nice one to walk all the way around. The layout was behind glass which made for photography difficult. Thjere were several things to find on the layout like emu's scale rabbits and under the bridge on the other side a couple of interesting human interactions.
Anyway if you are in the area was worth calling in for a look.

Thanks, i like the fact a lot of their scenery is empty, just like the real thing.

Great stuff you should have gone to the Whyalla model railway club rooms there layout there is a beauty along with the ones they take to the train shows like maree. That layout is a beauty especially when the coffee pot is running around. Oh well, I’m sure you’ll probably bump into them at Easter time for the big show. my brother and father are key members in the organization I guess trains just run in the family. Of course my videos are pretty hocus-pocus compared to your high production values. Great stuff keep it up

@@allynwoodmodelling sense of fun is generally the same way I describe being broke. I choose the life of voluntarily simplicity.
