The Lord has been convicting me of this for a short while but timing isn’t right yet (my husband is recently unemployed and my income is critical). But I feel guilty for wanting to stay home and run our new homestead with no children. We were just married this year and I’m nearing the end of childbearing years and I don’t believe children will be in our future. What scripture encouragement would you recommend?
Father God, forgive me whete I lack to submit to your will, help me do better please! In accordance with this word and james 4:7-8, matthew 6:10, proverbs 16:9, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind one to fully submit one's will to God his will for one's life in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ while binding to hell every lack of submitting one's will to God his will, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking yo submit one's will to God his will, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah ❤!
I have such a hard time with discerning how to prioritize my job, which provides income for my household, and my actual household itself. I opt to only work weekends, so I can be at home during the week to support my working husband, but I feel like I just drop everything on weekends to work. I hate it, and I am strongly pulled in my spirit to stay at home, but my job provides a lot of our household income. I am so confused when it comes to this biblical principle, and whether or not, I am doing the wrong thing. 😢😢😢
If you are strongly pulled in your spirit then lean in to that and pray daily for God to light your path. Don’t change anything yet until God makes the next step clear. Have this conversation with your spouse; exactly what you commented here. Ask your spouse to pray with you. Can you still make your house payment and medical insurance payments without your income? There will be things you will have to cut back on or give up entirely. But perhaps with you being obedient to God, he will bless your husband with a job promotion or opportunity for more money. Or, He might allow your family to feel the discomfort of living on less for a while so you can focus on Him, rather than all the extra things out could afford before. Being frugal with money or having only what we need has a way of humbling us and turning our attention to what really matters. He will provide for you. But pray and talk with your husband first. You must have your husbands blessing.
I totally understand your struggle. I was working before we started having our kids and it was so hard to let it go. I was literally scared... the Lord showed me a lot of things that I could be wise with money. The things that we really need and the things that we really just want because someone else has it. I have faith the Lord will guide you and give you His peace trough all the decisions. Today I am a stay home mom completely and it has been amazing how the Lord has provided. God bless you sister.❤

Not in the slightest... my home is priority FOR my husband and kids! :)
“Rule over our husbands” 😂😂😂 uhhh the manager examples aren’t due to men or women, it’s working your way up the ladder. Women do not need to just stay home and take care of the house and family. If they choose to that’s their choice. Can’t be behind this video.
This video is for Christians who obey God so if you’re of a different persuasion then that’s your prerogative.
No problem-- our channel here is "heavenly minded home" meaning that we look at topics from a Biblical perspective. I choose to submit to Christ-- and these are the things we do. If that's not where you're at in this stage of life... there's probably not much of anything on my channel you will be willing to get behind. ;)

Also, “rule over our husbands” is a phrase from the Bible. She didn’t make it up.
