@chazzmccloud36 Excommunication isn’t what you think it means. It’s not being expelled from the church - it’s a penalty box. However, there is a type of excommunication that is triggered by breaking the canon itself, which I suspect has happened. Still, his local bishop hasn’t said anything publicly. We don’t know about private talks.

I agree that homosexuality is a choice. Read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. All of the behaviors listed there are choices that people make. The reason that it was such a deliberate in-your-face this year was 1- the proclamation that Biden made, and 2- the deliberate banning of any religious symbols in the art competition. Personally, I don’t believe eggs and bunnies should have anything to do with the Resurrection of Christ, but I hope people remember this travesty come November.
