Thanks for sharing, good to see you wearing a life vest.
Love it! mooching too, very cool!
Thanks Mike 👍
Great work Shaun keep up the videos my friend!!
Thank you!
@@ShaunOutdoors anytime man
Nice video thank you
Thanks 👍
Great video, is there an electric down-rigger that is inexpensive you would recommend. Have a blessed day.
I would look online for some used Cannon riggers.
A bit curious here.... Are those fly/noodle rods in your downriggers? Cool technique. I'm a baitcaster, dipsy, rigger, planers. 1:1 gear is pretty hardcore. Long lines at 4/3:1 is enough for me!
Question when reeling in salmon why do you guys keep trolling forward? I only fish for pike/bass/pickerel
Can you give us the recipe for tieing your flys
Great job with cameras, quality video. Very informative, thanks for posting.
Thank you 👍😁
I'm new to watching your videos. Great job. High quality videos are so much nicer to watch. Your setup is great.
Love seeing the mooching rig! What rod are you using?
Jeff, they are KUFA Sports 10'6" Mooching Rods Im8 Graphite 2-Piece
Thanks a bunch! I hope to give this technique a try in the spring!
Nice to see u back brother "SOS CUBA"
Thanks mate 👍
Hi Shaun,
Great video! Are you using autopilot on your boat?
No mate.
What is your leader length
If you're referring to the fly leaders, 20" to 25"
What port were u out of
Pickering mate 👍
Great day out there, Shaun. Those flies were killer. Really enjoyed watching.
Thanks mate 👍
Dude, never hang a fish on a hook vertically and then release it. That fish is just about dead.
Nice to see you back "on the air" my friend. Great job with the video!
Cheers mate 👍
Where are you fishing out of ? American or Canadian side ?
Canadian side mate, Pickering,.Ontario area.
@@ShaunOutdoors ah okay I'm going out of olcott right across from Toronto on the american side tomarrow, tight lines !
Good luck mate 👍😁😎
That's good fishing Shaun . Those cameras show exceptional pictures .
Thanks mate 👍
Love your videos shaun nice how you explain everything to help fellow anglers 👍
Thank you JC
That looks like a blast! Great editing and entertaining video, as usual!
Thanks mate 👍
Hi Shaun!, Great fishing, me and my father are trying to make a trip out to Ontario maybe next month (October) do you think its too late to try for some salmon? We've never been before but he got a new boat and want to try some new waters. Also new to down rigging but we plan on trying it out there. Cheers and tight lines! :D
Its pretty much done now, most big/adult Salmon are in the creeks now. This time of the year you'd need to go deep, 300ft plus, you may hit some bows out there too. Good luck!
Great video again thanks!! You make it look easy. Hopefully I'll make it to the south shore this year and try those Flys
Thanks Paul 👍😊
See the white belly of rainbow after you released it. Floater
That. Reel. Sucks. So bad.
Glad to see you back mate. great time on the big pond. How far behind the cannon ball do you run your flasher and you were up to 3.1 mph will the flasher rotate too much at that speed. Wait a minute you were catching fish so obviously it worked..... Take Care mate and glad to see you back.
Thanks Michael, I was running my flashers between 12ft and 14ft behind the ball, cheers 🍻👍
Fish handling practices like this are ridiculous! If you promote this fishery don’t keep fish out of the water for 30 seconds, don’t stuff your hands in their gills to hold them, and get a decent release on them.
You don't release fish the proper way
