Celine Dion is a bit tricky to do. If you recall from Brooklyn from S11, and Chick Li Fay from Celebrity Drag Race doing Celine, you have to draw out a lot of comedy and references
I think it’s possible we didn’t see a great edit too. I’m sure the divorce jokes got old over the hour but I don’t believe she was delusional enough to believe she was in the top if she didn’t at least have a few good jokes we didn’t see.

Milk (at least, in my opinion) is more odd than quirky funny, whereas Anita *is* quirky funny, and I think Anita is one of the few queens that *could* make Celine a funny Snatch Game character. Adele is effortlessly funny in interviews by just being her natural self, which is why Ginger Minj was able to make Adele work as a great choice. Ginger nailed Adele’s characteristics, which are more subtle and understated. On the other hand, Celine’s characteristics are more extreme and give you WAY more room to be “out there,” and that’s where Anita shines. Anita tried to make Adele’s personality bigger to match her own zany personality, and so she lost of the resemblance completely. So while I agree that Celine would be a tricky choice, Anita would have had a much better opportunity than she had with Adele.
I met icesis at drag con uk this past weekend. Omg just speechless. The most beautiful amazing piece of art to hit drag race. She truly is the icon of icons. Soooooo kind and easy to talk to We chatted about both our battles with depression and as I explained I had depression for around 30 plus years. And meds for 25 of those years. She listened to how I beat it. And gave me the biggest longest hug and held my hand tight. Said she was so proud and will take my advice to heart I was I awe. I left shaking
I love Icesis, she's amazing and she could win this, but I think that's why she shouldn't have been cast. I also love Rajah and Silky, but I would have preferred queens that have only been on once. There's just so many queens to choose from and I wish they filled those three slots with someone else.
If they wanted to keep the trend of queens who had already been on a US All Stars season, Detox, Coco, Thorgy, Morgan, or Mariah would've been great options

Victoria didn’t have that true angry tone that I think The Vivienne can get out of doing Kim Woodburn. The way Kim can go from angry, stern, funny, & lighthearted in one sentence is a tough challenge.
Last year CDR s2 was my favorite after Spain, Icesis is one of the best winners ever, gorges, good performer and on amazing heart. Somehow that season went under the radar, I hope that Icesis is getting the recognition and in an all winners season she will be invited and feared.
Icesis = Perfection. The way she moves, the way how she said: "Gross" while moving the way she does. The outfit, the makeup, nails, everything. Snatch game winner by far. Love her

Plus the fact that Prianka was on the judges panel judging her this week is ABSURD. So we have Brooke judging her season 11 sisters and Prianka judging her succesor? I don´t know what the hell the production was smoking when casting this season
It sucks that those other queens don't get another chance but I also get it from a competition point of view. You want the best of the best representing your country/region. I'd put her up too.
I think they brought her back because even thoughshe did win her season she honestly wasn't that memorable outside of her performances. She never let the drag persona slip except for the prom episode so while in the competition aspect she was the best the reality show aspect left more to be desired.
I liked it personally, especially the crazy twerking bit. I sensed that everybody was having fun which was confirmed when the people in the bottom seemed genuinely surprised lol
Raja has elevated her drag and it’s so wonderful to see. I’m rooting for her to win! Also, it’s nice to see Vanity Milan in her element. She seemed so scattered during her season.. she came with a game plan this time. I think we are also sleeping a bit on Rita Baga. I can tell she’s strategized and ready with a game plan too. I know Icesis is the fav but she’s already won and has the money to show her Olympic level drag. She should be in NYFW not here lol. Also, she is playing 3D chess while we are playing checkers. That choice was very well planned.

Anita is just so LIKEABLE!!! I love everything about her as a person. She is one of the queens I would most want to hang out with. I hope she does well on future challenges!
I honestly didn't know what to expect from Icesis this season. She's absolutely blowing my mind though - what a talent. Her elimination choice too- on point. Ra'ja IS SUCH a 180 since her very, very, very first season! I'm in love with her, always will be. Her return to All-Stars and now Canada v. the world is so wonderful to see her trajectory 💞 Silky in her return remains still a kinda energy vampire and I don't see what others do, but happy she reaches those she does, and she's having a great time outside of the USA. Wiglet!! Dammit I want her to shine, I hope she gets to stay, maybe get over whatever is holding her back? BUT HER RUNWAY WAS SICKENING CAMP OF PLANETARY FUN. Vanity is such a beautiful vibe here, I can't believe the exquisite timing (not too long, not too short) since her UK. Excited to see her movement in this.
The thing about Icisis is she's got a full, well-thought out concept for every look and no detail goes unfinished. There is nothing that drives me crazier than a queen who puts an amazing look together, only to throw on a sunday brunch shoe that doesn't match AT ALL (cough cough Silky lol). Icesis' drag is so satisfying, I'm never left wanting more. I mean I am, I'm always wanting to see more of her. But i've never seen an Icesis look and thought "Gee, i wish she had finished the look better".

I would love to see Icesis win again, she’s really come in and not played around, she makes it look effortless, I would love to see her win a second crown in this mixed competition.
By going by track record and pointing it out, Icesis sets up that narrative for the season. Combined with the knowledge of how UK vs the world went, she makes it harder for the other queens to justify voting her, should she ever land in the bottom, since her track record is already very strong. Also Raja is a strong lip sync queen, so if she won and Icesis pulled out Anitas lipstick, Icesis would have had an 'enemy' in the competition. That is if Raja would send Stephanie home as well, which i would say, would also make sense for her gameplan. So i would say that Icesis is playing the game well, setting herself up for either a good placement/win or being voted out as a favourite, which, as we have seen, is not usually the worst thing for your career trajectory.

Obviously Icesis destroyed this week and deserved to win, but Rajah also really made me laugh!! The contrast from this performance to her Latoya on All Stars shows how much range she has.

Thank you for researching Gilda. They were known equally as Jean Gilda and as Gilda. They were the first drag queen and queer entertainer that many older French Canadian knew. They were a pioneer and was instrumental to Montreal’s drag scene.

Queens should know by now not to play hyper famous pop stars on snatch game. The only reason Ginger got away with it was because she could use Ru's favorite "lol fat people are soooooo funny when they eat" jokes. Literally this rule took down 2 heavy hitters in this one snatch game (and also stephanie). Don't to modern pop stars for snatch game and don't do disco for the makeover. Herstory will always repeat if they don't learn.
I love that Icesis is getting some international attention (I don’t think Canada’s Drag Race gets the hype it’s due) but this is just making me want Canadian All Stars 🫠

I side with Victoria- the term is obviously rooted in misogyny and I would never want to keep a word in my lexicon that offended anyone at all. Especially women! I look at drag a love letter to them. Whilst the first time I heard it I thought it was funny, but the more I hear it the more ugh it is. It was used juvenile boys and bitchy girls in the play ground when you don’t totally get what it means and want to to be horrible. In reality it means you prob have medical issue or side issue of medical issues eg loss of bacteria due to antibiotic use. It is an insult to a fantastic bit of AFAB women kit.

Bussy you should really watch LA MÁS DRAGA. A Mexican drag competition with OUTSTANDING looks, specially in seasons 4 and 5. You will appreciate it, trust me
I hate how the Asian and Pacific Islander queens (Manila and Jujube notwithstanding) keep getting eliminated so early in just about every season. I'm obviously not a fashion guru, but I very often enjoy the looks they bring to the runway, only to see them read for filth by the judges. What bothers me about the critiques is that often the judges don't have any problem with the execution of the look, but are very transparent about just not getting it. But of course they don't get it! It's a different culture, that they know nothing about, it's a different type of drag! Stephanie last episode and Yuhua Hamasaki in season 10 are some examples of what I mean. And before you accuse me of race baiting or trying to find some implicit racism where there isn't any, remember how long it took WOW to change their practices in terms of transgender representation or POC inclusion (post season 3 when it became mainstream)
dare i say icesis is on the same level as raja in terms of runways or at least somewhere close to her. raja is able to deliver with more subtlety but wow icesis just never fails and the fact she makes a lot of her looks
Silky tanked. She understood the assignment for the runway but it didn't do anything else it wasn't an h2t look. Raja just didn't have enough bass in their voice for big freedia but was still funny. Her look was alien not necessarily celestial body. Still a good look Anita was a disappointment as Adele. We know she can do but this wasn't it. Ginger did Adele best and it's hard to live up to someone's better performance as the character. The runway was on point. Sad that Stephanie just flopped with the obvious cardisms. She slayed the runway. Victoria could've won had she had an angry meltdown but she didn't and she landed safe. The melted rings were cool. Vanity and Rita chose characters that aren't the most well known but they gave good performances but nothing that would take the win overall, the looks were good. Rita gave us the sun. Vanity served a look but it didn't give celestial it gave glam urchin like shangela's red look. Icesis basically owned the episode. It's the stupid over the top that will always win the snatch game. It's always great to see a snatch game performance that is that good and not just a copy of someone else's movie character unlike a certain previous season 😒
I hope they do a holiday-themed episode!! Wouldn’t that be a fun design challenge? (My memory isn’t serving me when thinking of other christmas episodes except for All Winners and uk3!)

I was SO happy to see Victoria Scone get a chance to come back, but you know what I didn’t expect? Vanity Milan to fucking KILL IT. I loved her on her season, but saw her as a great person and performer whose skill set didn’t match up perfectly with that needed to win Drag Race. The work she’s done since then has turned her into a force to be reckoned with. I’m hoping it comes down to her and Scone, in the end. Like, I LOVE Rajah and Icesis. No one on this cast deserves a win more than Rajah. I feel like she *should* have had AS6 (not that Kyle didn’t deserve it-she did, too). But I was a bit sad that they’re both on this season. Of course, I’m excited to see them-they’re amazing. I just feel like Icesis would have killed on an all-winners season and that Rajah would be perfect for something like an all-legends season. They’re so wonderfully skilled that it doesn’t seem fair to them or the other queens to have them on a regular (if not international) All Stars.

I would love to see Icesis win again, she’s really come in and not played around, she makes it look effortless, I would love to see her win a second crown in this mixed competition.
By going by track record and pointing it out, Icesis sets up that narrative for the season. Combined with the knowledge of how UK vs the world went, she makes it harder for the other queens to justify voting her, should she ever land in the bottom, since her track record is already very strong.
Also Raja is a strong lip sync queen, so if she won and Icesis pulled out Anitas lipstick, Icesis would have had an 'enemy' in the competition. That is if Raja would send Stephanie home as well, which i would say, would also make sense for her gameplan.
So i would say that Icesis is playing the game well, setting herself up for either a good placement/win or being voted out as a favourite, which, as we have seen, is not usually the worst thing for your career trajectory.

that twerking portion was indeed my favorite part of the summit. had me rewinding it over and over and laughing like a madman ok? that's how you can tell everyone was having fun 😂 ra'jah was absolutely awesome in SG, i was very impressed by both her and icesis, like that whole side of the panel was on something i swear. i continue to be #teamrajah tho i know based on patterns they'll probably crown icesis because of ✨predictability✨
I thought Ice Sis and Rajah were amazing, but as a West Indian my fave was easily Vanity!

Obviously Icesis destroyed this week and deserved to win, but Rajah also really made me laugh!! The contrast from this performance to her Latoya on All Stars shows how much range she has.

Queens should know by now not to play hyper famous pop stars on snatch game. The only reason Ginger got away with it was because she could use Ru's favorite "lol fat people are soooooo funny when they eat" jokes. Literally this rule took down 2 heavy hitters in this one snatch game (and also stephanie).
Don't to modern pop stars for snatch game and don't do disco for the makeover. Herstory will always repeat if they don't learn.

It’s a conversation we’ve had many times on this channel over the years. I side with Victoria- the term is obviously rooted in misogyny and I would never want to keep a word in my lexicon that offended anyone at all. Especially women! I look at drag a love letter to them. My type of drag wouldn’t be possible without all the amazing and beautiful women in my life. ❤️

Whilst the first time I heard it I thought it was funny, but the more I hear it the more ugh it is. It was used juvenile boys and bitchy girls in the play ground when you don’t totally get what it means and want to to be horrible. In reality it means you prob have medical issue or side issue of medical issues eg loss of bacteria due to antibiotic use. It is an insult to a fantastic bit of AFAB women kit.

I hate how the Asian and Pacific Islander queens (Manila and Jujube notwithstanding) keep getting eliminated so early in just about every season. I'm obviously not a fashion guru, but I very often enjoy the looks they bring to the runway, only to see them read for filth by the judges. What bothers me about the critiques is that often the judges don't have any problem with the execution of the look, but are very transparent about just not getting it. But of course they don't get it! It's a different culture, that they know nothing about, it's a different type of drag! Stephanie last episode and Yuhua Hamasaki in season 10 are some examples of what I mean.
And before you accuse me of race baiting or trying to find some implicit racism where there isn't any, remember how long it took WOW to change their practices in terms of transgender representation or POC inclusion (post season 3 when it became mainstream)

dare i say icesis is on the same level as raja in terms of runways or at least somewhere close to her. raja is able to deliver with more subtlety but wow icesis just never fails and the fact she makes a lot of her looks

Silky tanked. She understood the assignment for the runway but it didn't do anything else it wasn't an h2t look.
Raja just didn't have enough bass in their voice for big freedia but was still funny. Her look was alien not necessarily celestial body. Still a good look
Anita was a disappointment as Adele. We know she can do but this wasn't it. Ginger did Adele best and it's hard to live up to someone's better performance as the character. The runway was on point.
Sad that Stephanie just flopped with the obvious cardisms. She slayed the runway.
Victoria could've won had she had an angry meltdown but she didn't and she landed safe. The melted rings were cool.
Vanity and Rita chose characters that aren't the most well known but they gave good performances but nothing that would take the win overall, the looks were good. Rita gave us the sun. Vanity served a look but it didn't give celestial it gave glam urchin like shangela's red look.
Icesis basically owned the episode. It's the stupid over the top that will always win the snatch game. It's always great to see a snatch game performance that is that good and not just a copy of someone else's movie character unlike a certain previous season 😒

I was SO happy to see Victoria Scone get a chance to come back, but you know what I didn’t expect? Vanity Milan to fucking KILL IT. I loved her on her season, but saw her as a great person and performer whose skill set didn’t match up perfectly with that needed to win Drag Race. The work she’s done since then has turned her into a force to be reckoned with. I’m hoping it comes down to her and Scone, in the end.
Like, I LOVE Rajah and Icesis. No one on this cast deserves a win more than Rajah. I feel like she *should* have had AS6 (not that Kyle didn’t deserve it-she did, too).
But I was a bit sad that they’re both on this season. Of course, I’m excited to see them-they’re amazing. I just feel like Icesis would have killed on an all-winners season and that Rajah would be perfect for something like an all-legends season. They’re so wonderfully skilled that it doesn’t seem fair to them or the other queens to have them on a regular (if not international) All Stars.
