I’ll just point out that the Transport Man’s serial number/licence plate was L35L3Y. Just a little detail to keep in mind, although obviously I won’t say why. 😄

The car is named Leslie which is a reference to the blue tape and the blue doors/moving up in the world to understanding. (But it’s an illusion of understanding because they’ll always be puppets within a story)
The car itself is blue it’s doors are blue. None of it changes - because they enter the car as another room and comment how it’s like a room being at home or inside the house never actually leaving.
The car tells the story then passes out dead because of all the exhaust within the room- exhausting himself.
drinks oil ‘forged from the remnants of the ancient ones’ - dinosaurs - but this show is only complex enough to explain time with song not dinosaurs evolution/fossilization and becoming oil and then company’s/drilling and subsequent machines and factories…
and they don’t know what dinosaurs are or how oil is made so forget it it’s ‘ancient ones’
The car has a lot of problems as a machine which is made of complex parts and is forced to be easy to understand// it’s forced to never actually leave the track it is put on - it operates lessons with tapes on track it has legs with cinderblock boots looking like tracks- when it’s a car animated it is on a rolling background track of repeated images (which is actually a style of puppetry and animation/ film) - they haven’t left the actual story or the concept of the house because the car is passed out they’re continuing it and staying on track.
All the seatbelt buckles are the characters favorite colors Duck- Yellow / Red guy - Blue / Yellow guy - Green. And their tickets to get on are the exact same color.
The duck is given food and entertainment because it’s made of actual meat/alive and can die / it’s treated like a pet or like a person. It’s given treats like raisins.
The yellow boy is a machine running on batteries his lessons about food are mechanical. He has a seat with a pop out ashtray or a window of reflection or imagination or a barf bag. He’s given garbage in reality to do nothing with or recycle. When he uses the barf bag he spills out tons of black oil because he’s a machine. He doesn’t eat raisins even if he’s ‘holding them’ his ‘dreams/imagination’ is still programming. It’s disrupted by a live living bird that hits the window and wakes him up - in the dream the bird is a random gift called a rat or something , the narrator is unaware of it as it flies off the boy chases it and gets hit by a car. It was an unexpected animal from the outside where all were puppets couldn’t react
When the car is given raisins it dies because sugar can’t go in a fuel tank… it causes the car to stop and ruins the gasoline/engine. And when cars breakdown they go to a junk yard.
And this is where the characters feel stuck this is a new place with no explaination that looks different from home and feels different from home it doesn’t have walls and nothing talks back and it all feels real and possibly disappointing because it’s not something interesting or creative but the broken cut scraps of what’s left. They burn the skull of the last thing trying to bring them home right- no the duck still had his clip board which we know has a face and brings them home.
The red guy is trying to get to something greater and feel purpose in his life which is why he’s so career focused or explorative or trying to breaks out or trying something new or seeing something new. Things feel boring and he just wants things to feel real but also good. When duck starts the list again he’s left sitting in a new place unhappy bored lying and imagining something more positive and stuck on the repetitive list of things in an area because they day isn’t over.
Yellow guy is reminded of his programming and the voice inside his head.
They finish the list and go to bed. And wake up at home because the story didn’t end they all decided to take their seats like normal at the end of the day and do exactly what they were suppose to (red:bored)(duck:task)(yellow: think)
The apartments are in the background it’s the super tall building of the real world but none of them decide to walk - as the car told them in the berry beginning of transport people walked on their own- but because they think it’s time to sit and do everything the same they’re stuck in their old ways and habits they can’t progress or move forward because they don’t want to they want to go home at the end of the trip and that’s exactly what happens. (Red guy could have said the trip is still going we stay up all night and walk to meet someone new we don’t stop we have raisins- or go alone but the three of them decide to stay put and be puppets)
