I remember in the 60s military Jeeps were used for hunting fishing camping in tough places like remote beaches on the big iland Hawaii . We used roads that military made around iland to patrol during WWII.

The "repairs" talked about in the rear corners of the body were a MWO applied by the Army in case the all metal artic cab enclosure was applied.
The 4 red cat eyes in the rear lights are the BO tail lights. The BO brake light is a white cat eye in the right tail light
The light switch is designed so the service and BO lights cannot be.on at the same time. The light switch is designed so the operator can tell what lights are on the position of the levers.
