- This video provides a simple explanation of the PZX triangle used to solve numerical problems in the area of celestial navigation.
The PZX triangle, also known as the Rational Horizon diagram is a projection of the earth's system of position fixing on to the celestial sphere.
The diagram is drawn by keeping the observer (Zenith) in the center of the diagram.

WZE is parallel to equinoctial right.and declination is also parallel to equinoctial then how can WZE and declination line cross?.parallel lines cant cross each other right?

Sir., Can u please tell the value of the polar distance if the latitude is 30 n and dec 20 s . Including the values of px and zx . As after calculating the polar distance is coming more than 90 degrees
zenith distance in that case is 50 degrees

That means this body will never rise in north hemisphere (at this particular lat and above )and hence it would never be available for you to take sight to fix your position
