Beatrice, Harrison and 2024 Eaglet

I have been following this Bald Eagle pair since 2014. I have named them Beatrice and Harrison. 2024 is their first successful hatch since 2019 and only the third since 2014. This video compilation is made up of pictures and video shot by me during the 2023/2024 nesting season. It was filmed at Modesto Reservoir in Stanislaus County, CA. It was an eventful year with both adults flying and perching within 40 yards of me and allowing me to photograph them for quite some time. I witnessed them defending the nest and their young eaglet time and time again. This video shows them chasing after a juvenile bald eagle intruder. Out of all the years I have been doing this, it was by far my most favorite season, and possibly (maybe) my last.
