I don't know how I got hooked on your channel but I must've watched half your videos just this month! I've laughed a lot, cried when you told the story of your brother and most of all I just really enjoy your calming presence and skill at storytelling. Thanks for sharing your life with us Granny Pat!
I've done watched 5 of her videos today and still going strong 😂 She reminds me of my great gran who use to talk to me about her childhood and how she use to take the street car to scrub floors for a nickel a day on her hands and knees. My great grandpa fought in WW2 Burma and he never talked much. I really miss them both ❤
Granny Pat, I came across your channel a few days ago and I've been binge watching your videos since. I can't get enough of your stories. You're a great storyteller. By the way, I was born in Portugal but I live in England.
My son went to Portugal when he was in college (about 10yrs ago) and he loved, loved, loved your country! He soon thereafter met a young lady from Brazil and married her 4 years ago! Such a beautiful addition to our family and the daughter that I never had! 🥰 Have a wonderful night!
Granny Pat I love to listen to all your stories and anything else you have to say. I'm from Australia and I feel like you live next door to me. I love that you have made this channel to keep yourself busy and you keep all us entertained at the same time. You amaze me at how clever you are to do this filming all by yourself. I would love my dear mother to be alive today to spend time with her but now I have you. I buried my father last year he was 92. Bless you and may the SON shine his face upon you as you go. Many Blessings sweet lady.❤
Pat, I love your stories and the way you tell them. I love your chi chat too! If it were all in a book, you would be on the New York Times Best Seller's List! 🎉
I have been a hairstylist for 55 years. I wish I would have written down all my clients names and stories kept a diary so I could have remembered all the Crazy stuff when clients came in every week and you developed a bond with them and new just about everything in their life. That part of the beauty salon business is gone! The personal connection has left the building. Love your stories GP💗 Keep them coming! God Bless. My husband & I haven’t been to a wedding since my daughters 22 years ago. We have 2 coming up in 2 different months!
Hello Granny Pat. Love your channel. A few minutes ago, I found this information for you: It seems some battery components are toxic to the environment: “How to get rid of hearing aid batteries the right way. The sad fact is that even if you do everything right, your hearing aid batteries will not last forever. But when it’s time to replace your batteries, you shouldn’t immediately throw them in the garbage. Hearing aid batteries are made from metals that can be toxic to the environment and should be disposed of carefully. Your best bet is to call your hearing specialist and find out if they have any battery recycling programs in place. If they don’t you can call up your local township offices or even an electronics store to find out the best way to dispose of your hearing aid batteries. Whatever the case is, it’s important that you give some thought to your batteries before you throw them away. Also consider getting a rechargeable hearing aid, which only requires a new battery about once a year.” Unfortunately it appears as though they should not be re-used for anything.
I recently discovered your videos and am happy to say I watch you every day. Whether I watch you as I’m ending my day getting ready for bed or listening to your chat while I’m in the kitchen cooking, I feel like I’ve got a special friend in the room keeping me company. Thank you for sharing your spirit with the world
I find your wit absolutely delightful! Cleverness and charm- what a combination. Guess what? I come from a time and place where yes, even in 1990, girls were considered “old maid” if they weren’t married by 23! This was starting to change when I came up. Your marriage and “afterwards” story is one I’m looking forward to.
You are hilarious! Being a RUclipsr is not for the weak… So please take all the time you need to read your messages because I think all of us take the time we need to write down. 😂😂😂
I love listening to your stories - no matter what they are about 💜 Can't wait to hear more about you, and please keep giving us your pearls of wisdom... they are treasured 😊💗 Have a wonderful day!!
My wedding and reception were lovely....until. My poor husband passed out, and then on the way to our honeymoon I had to pull over for him to be sick. I could easily relate to your story about motion sickness.
I love anything you tell. Your sisters’ wedding included. Those times you lived are never to be experienced again. I’m waiting for you promised stories Granny Pat💕carson
Love your stories of a not so distant past that has changed dramatically. I actually told a young woman earlier today not to get married if she could help it. 😂
I love watching you and listening to your stories. I live just outside Raleigh NC but I was born and raised in Morehead Kentucky. My parents and other family still live there and it's a beautiful state . I know you will be able to relate to this so I am gonna share one of my published poems to you of my memories growing up in Kentucky. CHILDHOOD MEMORIES Oh I love you in the Springtime Such sweet smell of life The lady bugs in the morning sun The bright fireflies at night The rolling hills of bluegrass waves The kiss of the morning dew The spiders on the garden gate The iris all of blue You gave to me great childhood dreams In rolling fields of hay The wonderous beauty of it all In one Kentucky day Rhonda Akins
Get the hearing aids that charge. My hubby had the battery type and what a pain. He now has hearing aids that are placed in a case that recharges. No more batteries. I love watching your videos. How awesome to see a lady of your maturity on RUclips. You remind me of my grandmothers that have long passed. 😘
I adore your chit chats and small talk! I love hearing your memories or just sharing your day. I feel like you are part of my family. I don’t expect you to check off all my comments and I’m sure no one else does so just do it if you enjoy it. I wouldn’t want it to become burdensome for you.
Dear Granny Pat I am so much anticipating to hear the story of your own wedding …I love the way you describe every single detail in your stories… thank you
Omg this story reminds me of making my way East and driving through those winding, tall and never ending Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia and Virginia! I could have kicked myself for not thinking of getting some Dramamine before that trip! 🤢 😆 Oh, how great it felt getting out of that car! We love hearing all your stories! Your hair looks so fluffy and adorable! I love it! Looking forward to the next chat!
I've just come across your Channel and I love it. Thank you for sharing your memories. I live in Worcester, England and I will try to watch more of your videos. Take care, kind regards Angeline ❤️
Hello G.P. You are such a artist, I think you could draw a “ear” on say a 5x7 canvas. Trace the ear with those batteries. You could even 3-D the ear with the batteries by building them up. Kinda like our ear has its shape. Just a thought. I love everything about you!! Take care.
Same here. My family is gone just one brother other one has Alzheimer’s. Miss them so much and granny Pat’s chitchats remind me of how sweet my mom was and fun when we were together. She is a delight💗
Same here, born in 1953, so glad I got to experience and see what I saw. All my aunts/uncles/mom are all gone. I have 1 older brother and my sister has Dementia/Alzheimer, so sad to see her this way, such a terrible disease.🙏🏻❤️ I love G Pat.
Granny Pat, I’m a newbie to your channel and I have been listening to your videos. My husband and I were traveling during the 4th of July weekend, and I was able to link my phone to our car. And we were able to listened to your story about “Love letters.”We both loved the story and the importance of handwritten letters!❤😊p.s. Love from, Houston,Texas!
I love to listen to your stories. It takes my mind back to those good old year’s. I wish I would have been born back then! I was born in 1987. And thing’s have changed so much. You’ve seen so much and are full of wisdom. Love it! ❤️🙏
Hi, Granny Pat! Another wonderful story of your life. It's clear that you've adored every member and moment, good or bad. And we're anxious for your matrimonial details, but take your time and keep storytelling about whatever tickles your fancy! We'll keep listening 😍. By the way, my husband wears hearing aides and gets his batteries at Costco. Much better price than certain corner drug stores, if someone you know is a member. You take care getting your new Fostoria pieces put away - that was quite a find!👍
By the by, Thank You. I love stories! When I was young I would ask my Mother to tell me stories. When I got married I would ask my husband to tell me stories. When he was passing away, he asked me to tell him a story.
Pat, I found your chat today, "small talk" to be very interesting! Loved hearing about the weddings. Do you still get car sick? People that have that problem can't sit in the backseat of a car, they need to sit in the front. When you started showing your old hearing aid batteries I thought you were gonna say you were gonna use them in your Christmas tree crafts and other crafts. I can't wait to hear about your wedding plus all the etceteras that go with it. You should get notifications for the comments on your videos. Maybe you don't have that set up? I'm so happy you are monetized now! God bless you and your family and may he keep you. Love and Hugs from Laura in Pennsylvania 🥰💕👍🌹🌻❣️☺️
Can’t wait to hear your marriage story!! I love to talk as well!! Also,I love to listen to you!!! I think you might could use the batteries in Christmas decor??? There is not any battery acid in them is their?? Lol I am not a crafter and not as smart as you are!!! Love to you from Alabama,ROLLTIDE country!!!!!🥰❤️🙏💖
Hi Granny Pat! I always love listening to your Chit Chat! Enjoyed the wedding stories! You have quite a following of so many people who just love you! I love you too! Move day is tomorrow! I'm already exhausted! 115 here.....sooo hot! Don't worry about answering all the comments quickly. You have so many! I don't know how you can possibly get to them all! I'll let you know how the move goes! See ya soon!❤❤❤
Thank you. I found your channel and was immediately returned the a time I spent with my own momma. What a treasure I had. I'm going through chemo therapy for lymphoma and have been feeling pretty down. Your video brightened my morning. I subsequently watched you potato salad video and I honestly felt I was was back in my mothers kitchen. So Thank you. Please know how very much you have blessed me today. Love to you from Angela in Virginia Beach, VA.
I can’t imagine what you are going through or how you feel, but I am grateful if anything I say is uplifting for you. I pray that God will provide his healing powers.
You remind me of my Aunt Jean who lived in the country of Alabama, same sweet smile. I think I must have grown up deep south a bit since both my parents were from Birmingham, Alabama. However, they moved to Texas where I was born. So friends tell me I sound more like I'm from New England with a few Texas bits, but I have deep southern habits. Lucky me! Anyway, I love stories and hearing your accent reminds me of my mom. Bless you.
Bless your heart we love you ❤I made your Coleslaw, your meatloaf and your cookies they were fantastic when I’m looking for meals to make all I have to do is go on your videos and I found one or I find one that is just absolutely delicious so I’m cooking your meals and they’re really good. God bless you keep up the good work.❤
New subscriber here from Michigan! Your potato salad video popped up on my feed last week. I made your potato salad and my husband loves it! I love seeing your videos pop up. You are a joy to listen to. Love you Granny Pat, hope to see many more videos to come
Greetings Granny Pat! I get carsick too, especially on those winding mountain roads. I love your stories and also your glasses! Are they readers or prescription? Where can I find them? Love and blessings ♥️🙏
The story of your dad's driving around all the curves was so funny. My granny hated curves, but the only ones in our area were the exit ramps off of I-10. Yes, that missing rhinestone on your fabulous glasses was driving me crazy. Color it in like you said and keep on being glamorous! Love your stories ❤
I loved your wedding stories, well for that matter I love ALL your stories. I am looking forward to hearing your own wedding story. Like I have said before I could listen to you all day. Love you Patricia Faye!😊
Well I enjoy your chit chats and so I guess that makes us a good pair. I love your chats and am so glad that I found you! I sure hope I get to hear about your marriage in 3 parts! You said you were lucky because Jan wants to vacation with you, well that may be true. What is equally true is that you are the kind of mom that would be cool to travel with! So maybe you are both lucky to have eachother! Pleasant dreams! Delighted your site is beginning to bring you in some residual income!
Ms pat it was a awesome story loved it and I can't wait to here your story cause I know that you and I about to go down the same road for I have had three marriages i didnt learn one it took me three finally it sunk in 😊.so I know your story is going to be awesome 😊
Happy Thursday Granny Pat ❤ Love your videos chats and stories !!! I also Love Weddings 💒 You always put a Big Smile on my face 😊Thank you for sharing with us . Big Hugs 👍🏻🥰💕
Hi granny Pat, I was thinking you should make signs with your hearing aid batteries, like a piece of wood and hot glue the batteries on and spell out words like “family” or others
Hi Granny Pat, Yep! that happened to my mom- with the hearing aids- would drive her crazy. I also would request hearing how u met your husband & wedding. Thanks for sharing . Really enjoy you.❤
Your always a pleasure to watch. Every story is about a real person in your life or someone you know or met. Life stories are always the best. Until your next one, take care💐😍
I LOVE YOUR STORIES,REMINS ME OF MY GRANDMOTHER,YOU DO MAKE ME SO HAPPY AND I LOVE YOUR KINDNESS ,LOVE AND YOUR JOY FOR LIFE.THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LOVE AND JOY YOU GIVE TO US.BARBARA WHITAKER IN LUCEDALLE MISSISSIPPI
Hi! I appreciate you. I have been home sick with Covid. My “visits” with you have helped me feel less alone. I fall asleep listening to you. Blessings 🌷
Precious lady. We love you as is. No need to worry about commenting, checking etc. Hearing aids are wonderful, but great expense. Hope yours really work. I’m deaf in left ear and so far the right is okay. The deafness resulted from swimming in the river on the farm and contacted a fungus in the left ear. That was 60 yrs ago and I’m now 83. You are a true southern lady.❤
Love ya Granny Pat! I adore your beautiful Red Cat-eye glasses…..so classy! No matter how short or exactly what your stories are about…..they are interesting & still look forward to each one! Thanks for sharing a piece of your life with us….Sending much Love & Light to you & Jan…..GOD BLESS ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻✨✨🥰🥰✨✨🤩🤩✨✨👍🏻👍🏻✨✨💜 your friend from Western Massachusetts, Sharon
Hi Granny Pat, from southwestern Missouri. I love listening to your stories, the way you tell them, puts me there, in the places you talk about. Your daughter is very lucky, and so are you. I could listen to you all day. The younger generation could learn from the elderly , if they'd just listen to them. Thanks for another Chit Chat
I am trying to catch up on your videos I love your stories and the way you tell them. I like you a lot would love to be your neighbor or friend. Hope you and Jan have a great time on your next trip.
Oh Granny Pat. I just love you. Love the stories. Hey I have An idea let’s tell our divorce stories together. I bet I cry more than I can talk through it. ❤️
Granny Pat we enjoy your storytelling so much, with all the artificial intelligence that is out there today people don't want to visit like in the past so I enjoy your story's. Stella
Love you Granny Pat, how wonderful that your daughter is taking you on a trip, just the two of you, you are truly blessed. Heck if I don’t call my daughter I would never hear from her and she’s my only child.😢
Hello Pat! I can so relate to your motion sickness as I too have suffered from it my whole life (70+ years). I can also relate to your sister's trip to New Jersey because I grew up in a very, very small town and at the age of 17 I had to fly out of state for my sister's wedding. Looking back I can't imagine the shy, country, unsophisticated girl actually being able to get it done. There was no google maps, or internet and I didn't have a car so I'm not sure how I got to the airport. I so enjoy your videos and of course I wish I had talked to my grandmother and my mother about their lives as young women. Your grandchildren are so lucky to have your stories as part of their history. I think you're very young at heart because anyone who can tackle having a RUclips channel in their 80's is an inspiration to us all.
Another awesome video. Weddings. Fun times fun stories. My daughter’s getting married this October. We’re all so excited. It’s going to be at a venue that looks like an Italian villa. She’s waiting on her wedding gown. It’s coming from Tennessee. We’re in Pgh Pa. Next alterations. I’m going to look at Macy’s for my mother of the bride pant suit. I wish Kaufmann’s was still around. Or Horne’s. Beautiful dept stores. My dad worked for Sears. Fun times shopping there as kids. There are 4. Of us. Two girls two boys. My mom has 5 grand kids. Two awesome grand daughters from me. 3 from my sister. N 3 great grand kids. Huge family. Such great fun. My dad was from Michigan. Those were fun travels. I always got car sickness. So I can totally relate. OMG 10 hr drives to my grand mother’s. Way up north. We had so much fun. Thanks so much for sharing. Brings me back to the good ole days. Back when my gram ma was young. You remind me so much of her. An awesome lady. 🩷🫶🙏✝️☮️✌️⭐️⭐️⭐️💋👛 you’re the star now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🎉🎊
I giggle at your stories!!! Funny when you said on your glasses a rhinestone has fallen out... I actually used nail polish to paint the rims of my glasses, and if I didn't like the color, I used nail polish remover and repainted!! I have to say I am very careful so anyone not steady don't try it but like you I'm crafty so I did. See you for the next chat!!
I don't know how I got hooked on your channel but I must've watched half your videos just this month! I've laughed a lot, cried when you told the story of your brother and most of all I just really enjoy your calming presence and skill at storytelling. Thanks for sharing your life with us Granny Pat!

The young man who helped me publish my books said I write like Erma Bombeck. What better compliment could I get?
Keep’em coming, Granny Pat!! We love those stories!! 💔🙏🏼🐾🙏🏼💔

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
Oh I love you in the Springtime
Such sweet smell of life
The lady bugs in the morning sun
The bright fireflies at night
The rolling hills of bluegrass waves
The kiss of the morning dew
The spiders on the garden gate
The iris all of blue
You gave to me great childhood dreams
In rolling fields of hay
The wonderous beauty of it all
In one Kentucky day

I love your stories Grandma Pat & looking forward to "The Big Story" xx🤩
Love ya Grandma ❤sweet dreams beautiful! 🥰💕
You are the most adorable person I've seen! I'm so happy to have found your channel. I resonate with so many things you're saying.

Make ear rings. May not make any money, but laughs are guaranteed.
HAHAHA!

You are a hoot, looking forward to the next one 😅
I love weddings! ❤️ i went to many weddings 1970 s and 1980 s the last wedding i went to was around 2 years ago ❤️💙❤️

Us “hardcore” devoted fans have pieced it together from watching every single one of her videos! 😉

Oh Granny Pat. I just love you. Love the stories. Hey I have
An idea let’s tell our divorce stories together.
I love those glasses! Your style is my style. We're alike in that way. You don't have to acknowledge my comments. 😉
You look fabulous Granny pat ❤ today 🙂and always 🤗
I can't wait to hear the story on about your wedding , children and Divorce😂
I love your chit chats and yes me thinks you’d be well able to travel on a plane. Looking forward
To your stories always
