Appreciate the channel and the average guy approach to mods on the Ranger.
That's what we are all about and couldn't of said it better. Thank you!
I ran my wires from the passenger side, straight down to the leads. It’s just less wires to worry shorting out, or vibrating loose, etc… Just leave a loop extra n cut the rest off. Lol Happy riding my friend!!
Its amazing what the light bar above the windshield did. I am going to get one bought for my ranger. Great install video.
Thanks! Yes it is really bright and made a big difference.
Can you put a link up for the brackets please? Awesome video by the way!
Thanks!

Looks good...maybe think about protecting the wires where you put them inside the roll cage to help stop from the wires rubbing on the metal and shorting out.
Thank you! We used the some of wiring from the kit it came with and it has a like a rubber sleeve that goes over the wires to protect them. Almost like double insulated with the wires covered and then the sleeve that goes over top of them. We should be okay but I might add a rubber grommet on top were the wire goes through the hole on the cage. Thanks for the input!
Really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks.
Thanks Jesse!
Love it so both light bars are on one switch on dash by the way I got my back up light on the way from e bay
Yes the wiring harness from auxbeam is set up for two lights so its controlled by the one switch. I was impressed how bright it was and is a big difference.
You will love the back up light its bright!
Too fine nice work guys!!!!
Thanks!
Ok, thanks
Wheres the key on connect? Hooked it up to power and grnd.. but this of course drains the battery. Want power to the switch only when key on
Check out the bumper LED install video. It shows how to wire for key hot only.
Will my window still open all the way up without hitting the light? I have the Polaris OEM tilt up glass window .
Yes it should open all the way up.
You guys rock! Thanks for this video... I'm going to buy one for the father in laws new ranger for Christmas. Do you think full doors would still close with those EMP brackets? Thanks!
Thank you! I would think the brackets will work with full doors. Maybe double check with EMP first before you purchase. Thanks for watching!
Where did you buy the rearview mirror that I see in this install video? I have enjoyed all the upgrades you've made to your Ranger...thanks for sharing.
I got it from Amazon her is the link. Thanks for watching!

They spend more time opening the items and no time talking about the short cord and why they had to move the bracket in. They're so happy to get free items, that they leave out the issues that we all will encounter. NOT very useful.
Why didn't you connect to the " "pulse" bus bar there in the front?
When I installed the front bumper LED I used a two light wiring harness so I have one switch for both lights.
With your rocker switch in the off position with the ignition key turned off is your rocker switch still illuminated at the bottom?
No it shuts off. Sounds like you have it wired for constant hot. Mine is wired key hot only.
Can you post the link to the wiring harness? My light didn’t come with one.

Did you wire both these lights to the pulse bar? Will it support the 50in? If so are you using the constant power for the light and ignition for the switch light?
They are wired to the pulse bar key hot only.
I have loc and ride flip down windshield and sport Polaris roof will the Brackets work on the light bar with my set up
He said it would work but you might want to give him a call to make sure.
The only thing missing is the camouflage guy’s neck. Lol jk
great video, i had a question for you, i swapped out my 12" light with the the same 18" light you have and rewired it the same way you did to the pulse bar with pulse bar connector. now for some reason the light is flickering, what do you think could be the issue?
I would check your connections make sure they are not loose. Does it do it all the time.
@@UTVDIRT ok I'll check the connections, what kind of connectors would you recommend when splicing wires together
I used the male spade connectors that goes into the wiring harnesses two female connectors.
@@UTVDIRT roger that
UTV DIRT I wired up the 18” yitamotor and the 50” auxbeam to the Yitamotor harness (had two connections) tied into key only wire. It worked for about 30 seconds then blew a 10 amp fuse under the seat. Do you know why?
would these work if you have a windshield though?
Yes, I have a full windshield on my unit now with no issues.
Did you have any problems with blowing your fuses after you plugged in both lights?
No I haven't had any issues. The key hot I believe is rated for 10 amps.
The key hot is 10 amps but it should only be wired to turn on the relay power which draws VERY little. The main power line should be fused at 40 amps.
Can you give where we can buy this 50 led bar ? thank
Yes i got it off of amazon and i put a link in the description of the video. It will take you right to the 50 LED bar.
Will these light bar brackets work with a windshield already installed (Factory Glass) Northstar
I am not sure. I would call EMP in Cleveland to double check before you purchase. I looked on his website and it just states 2017-19 Ranger XP 1000.
Thanks. Your Camo mans enthusiasm is overwhelming, lol.
I installed a 50in with its own harness wired to the bus bar up front and keep blowing the fuse every time i turn the light on. Its wired correctly but cant figure out why its blowing the fuse. Any ideas?
The key hot is only a 10 amp circuit. If you have more than a 10 amp draw it will blow the fuse.
You need to go back and make these videos with shots of the actual installations,
I will be glad to answer any questions you may have on the installation. Its pretty straight forward since the 18 inch LED bumper bar was already installed with the two light wiring harness. I just connected the two wires from the 50 inch light bar to the two wires that were left on the wiring harness.
i havent checked the wiring yet, but i did notice today that when the engine is running the light is flickering, when its not running it does not flicker.
Could be loose connections motor is not running so no vibration. If that's not it maybe the light bar is defective. Not sure what else but mine does not flicker.
