THE BACK SIDE OF FRONTIERLAND!
My favorite part of Magic Kingdom. It's got the pirates ride, tiki room, river boat ride. Outstanding

OMG!!! I love the mural on the side of Sunshine Terrace with Orange Bird holding a Dole Whip! That is so cute, and I will definitely have to take a photo of it when I go. Also, the peanut butter, hazelnut spread and banana sandwich on the menu across from Pirates sounds like a nice option for a light meal with some protein.
One of my favorite lands to explore and find all the details. Especially over by Pirates. Love the Orange Bird mural. Tfs 4K.

Enjoyed strolling Adventureland! I really like the way you focus on the details of the architecture. We are so rushed when at the parks that we often miss some of the beauty. Thank you, again!

Me too - the architecture.
Great to be able to see things I didn't notice before. The Swiss Family Treehouse has a waterfall/feature. The restroom area towards the end has the 100 anniversary medallions. I am hoping these are still around in Nov 2024 my next trip. Also this restroom shady area is the division between Frontierland and Adventureland. Loved the young woman in the Snow White Disney-bounding dress - yellow top and royal blue skirt. I bet there is some red in there somewhere.
I was kind of struck by how serious most people looked. Not as many smiles as I would expect. Might have been the time of day.
Loved hearing the steamboat whistle.

This is a great part of the Magic Kingdom because of its consistency, I believe. It still has the old favourites from my first visit in the nineties. And how I wish for some dole whip right now 😋.

I walk under that arch into advantureland, and I'm looking for the egg roll cart and dole whip
Morning is the perfect time to enjoy Adventureland for several reasons.
First, most Guests are right handed and head to Tomorrowland first thing (or directly ahead to Fantasyland if they have little ones with them).
As a result, Adventureland isn't too crowded first thing in the morning.
***Knowing that most Guests are right handed, Walt wanted Camera shops, Candy store, Bakery etc. to be on the right hand side of Mainstreet USA as Guests enter the Park.
And as Guests exit the Magic Kingdom, the Emporium is on their right so they'll instinctively go inside to buy most of their souvenirs.
And secondly, the Magic Kingdom is built around a North/South matrix - aka Mainstreet USA.
So in the morning, there is SHADE in Adventureland.
By noon, the shade is gone.
I also love that except for the view of Cinderella Castle from the top of the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, Guests are completely immersed in Adventureland's theming.
There are few areas with a straight walkway.
Most of the time, by design, Guests meander through this special land.
It's especially cool to see some of Walt Disney's earliest animatronics in Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room and compare that technology with the Captain Jack animatronics in Pirates of the Caribbean.
The main thing I miss from "the good old days" is hearing a chorus of inebriated Pirates hollering, "We Wants The Read Head!"
Having Pirates save up their money to bid on works of art in a Public Auction just doesn't cut it for me.

Abu! (ok…so you didn’t specifically focus on him, but there he was), Orange Bird! Skipper Canteen! (fellow viewers: Ask to sit in the S.E.A. Room! and have the “Not Priahnah” on you next visit to the Jungle Cruise Skipper Canteen!). I have to admit watching this that I am feeling regret in hopping over so late to MK, I only visited the Carousel of Progress, then Master Gracey…(I think Ezra followed me home!). Adventureland has so much in atmosphere and fun to have missed!!!
There's only 24 hrs. in a day 😊 LOL
@@Liz.R there has to be more when at Disney!!!
Skipper Canteen is a place I need to go to in the near future! I’m not an adventurous eater as you know, so that’s what keeps me away when looking at the menu but I may just go for it anyway soon. Thanks so much as always Rick😃

🐒🐒Abu approved, thrilled he has a collectible penny! Evidently they oiled those magic carpets because that s- q -u -e -a- l isn't pronounced. Love this land cause I know you'll be going into that Pirate's🏴☠ gift shop and we love our pirates who don't disappoint. Yep, the inconsistency with the water wheel is just super disappointing 😩 I don’t think it’ll ever work permanently ever again at this point. Maybe Captain Jack can fix it himself lol. Thanks so much as always Liz!
@@4KWDW Hopefully DL's Treehouse will be more complete when you get there & their wheel will be working. That is their "Tron" construction headache.

hI I love Adventureland specially pirates the tiki room has never been of my taste I don't know why but I love jungle cruise is my favorite of that area 🦏
