Anyone defending this group publicly AND Accusing me or anyone else of HARMING these people - will really, really look pretty bad after this series comes out. Trust me. This project was not done by me for profit or fame. I have SPENT so much on the lawsuit that there is NO PROFIT for me in this project. This project was fulfilling a promise to Kelly Wilking to help her get her daughter back. I always keep my promises.
The docuseries is titled "Dancing for the Devil: The 7m TikTok Cult" release date is May 29, 2024 on Netflix. I was a part of the series from the beginning and worked with the team even before we had a network signed on.
Also, the clips of Miranda in the beginning were orchestrated and executed by her mentors in the group. She was not "no contact" by choice or because her family was toxic. Robert Shinn effectively forces members to cut off their outside contacts and "die to themselves." Their lives are controlled from their phones, homes, finances, checking accounts, and he has mentors that basically spy on them daily according to court records. Miranda is rarely ever allowed to travel alone. She is now allowed to see her family only due to Robert attempting to gaslight the public into believing that she's free.
Also, Wilmer Valderrama is not a Scientologist & he did not support Danny Masterson nor write a letter supporting him.

My brother went to LA about 15 years ago after his band was signed by a major label. Shortly after he cut off contact with me. He’s in deep with Scientology. And lured my parents into it. My parents “disowned” me about 4 years ago, because I’m not a Scientologist and I refused to be involved. My brother chose the fame and money that the cult was offering him and took my parents with him. Every day I think about them, hoping they’ll wake up to the truth. But I realistically don’t believe I’ll ever see or hear from them again. My point is, the cult scene there is VERY real and VERY dangerous. I’m glad you’re talking about your experience and bringing light to a dark subject.
I truly don't understand the attractiveness of a cult. I would never want to deal with people to that degree ever. I enjoy being alone and doing my own thing.
I'm so sorry to hear that. Scientology is a very insidious cult. They don't care about people only the money they can get from them. They treat them horribly and encourage disconnection from family members that aren't in it. I've learned so much about it from a podcast from former members in a podcast in UTUBE called "Growing up in Scientology" and several others. It's heartbreaking what the do to the people. 😢

I'm with you, I don't have tik tok and I've never heard of them.However, for Katie to have put this much blood, sweat, brains, stress, money and more into it, it's gotta be something I've been sleeping on! I watch tons of cult exposés on YT but never got these ppl in my algorithm. I'm totally ready to dive into the darkness and learn what I've been missing!

There are a lot of cults but there are also ways to work in the industry that doesn’t involve “selling your soul” and believing that everyone is involved in a cult or cult like behavior is wild.

Why is this giving me NXIVM vibes? To those who don’t know them , yet another cult ran by Keith Raniere and actress from Superman series was involved and both charged and did prison time for various reasons related to it. These groups seem to have sprung up as/from types of self help or self improvement types that turn religious then cult. Another group back in the 60’s Synanon ( great documentary on that) lasted till the 90’s I believe started as drug rehabilitation group, to religion ( leader did it to avoid taxes) to cult.
I don’t blame parents for concern when these things happen and it’s really scary.
This is sort of like NXIVM BUT not really. It's very, very different. Trust me. Just watch when it comes out! NXIVM was not religious. This group is Religious - it's not self-help

Katie, I've watched for years now and I've seen you and your family be put through so much by bad actors whose buttons you pushed while exposing so many high control groups and leadership/members of them.
I've wondered how you could keep coming back, even when some really horrible tactics were used against you, including in the real world.

Yes, it's that Miranda and B-Dash. Slavik is also involved. He's very well known & was 4th place on Season 15 of So you Think you Can dance. B-Dash and Kevin Davis competed in World of Dance. Miranda was also on So You Think you Can Dance but didn't make it very far.

My hope is that the victims of this group gets justice. I hope the group isn't allowed to use freedom of religion as their get out of jail card. You IMO are doing everything you can to bring this story out. I wasn't watching your videos that far back so I had no clue until yesterday about this group. Thank you for doing what you do.
It's really unbelievable that in this world we are More apt to come after those that expose these demons rather than the devils that are using and abusing innocent people! Even people who call themselves "content creators" that run nothing but trash talk about other creators that call it content - nothing but foolery!

We should be Thankful for people like Katie who try hard to support victims and give them a safe and supportive platform to speak their truth. Why wouldn't we support a platform that helps bring awareness for unsuspecting persons who could fall prey to this? So what are some of their "religious" beliefs? I'm assuming that the sister who isn't in 7M knows since she went to a few of their services?? I'm super curious.
Robert Shinn comes from the Pentacostal world. So heavy speaking in tongues, hypnotic worship services - think Bethel Music or Hillsong. Robert's beliefs are along those lines. Though he's kind of created his own brand where he believes that he's the "Man of God"
Keep in mind, too, that cults don’t need to be religious. NXIVM wasn’t religious per se. Any group that controls their members behaviour, information, thought and emotions are considered a cult.

Tell you what this is definitely going on all around us all the time. These cults scare me. The way they destroy lives, tear apart families, Scientology being one of the biggest and worst has killed members. If you've never read the story of Lisa McPherson in Clearwater, FL Katie you need to story made world news when Scientology killed her. She was a very devout member too. That didn't keep them from locking her away starving her, no water, cock roach bites. Autopsy photos were among the worst. Knowing what we know about how she died. Well she said Ellen is involved, and M&H are in tight with Ellen and that crew, along with other not so nice/sketchy people like Chrissy Teigen & Beyonce. Everyone she’s mentioning that are in the cult are the same circle of friends M&H are in (I’ll add allegedly).

I've had questions about the running of World of Dance, SYTYCD, and Dancing with the Stars for years. To the point I stopped watching them. I hope this documentary answers some of these questions. Did they have anything to do with Twitch and his unfortunate ending?
