- Let's take a look at Green Hell VR to see how it holds up on the PSVR2! This is a quest 2 port with upgraded visuals, but does it look any good?
The VR Lenses I use: www.vr-rock.co...
The PSVR2 Comfort Kit I use: vrcover.com/#J...
It's unfortunate developers are deciding to port the Quest titles to PSVR2 instead of PCVR to PSVR2 since the PS5 is more than capable of running PCVR ports.
We are getting both and usually the quest ports are updated. Not bad.
We are getting vertigo 2 on psvr2 so that'll be the first pcvr game on psvr2
No, it's not capable...
The problem isn’t the psvr2 it’s the developers for being dum and just porting the game from the quest instead of the pc
thank you from saving me from buying another quest 2 port with slightly better graphics
I wish Sonys developerpolicy would be so strict as their refund agenda :) No foveated optimisation w. Eyetracking? No reales!
I played this game on quest pro and it looks nowhere near as good as on PSVR2. The issue with this ports visuals lies in the backdrop landscapes. The visuals aren’t top notch, but they’re not horrendous the way people seem to believe.
So I’m playing a quest 2 game on psvr 2 with slightly better graphics. Thanks for the explanation
Anybody else wants the forest on psvr2 I’d love to row a boat around the ocean in my boathouse cuz I’m scared to death to go in the island lol😂
I would buy the psvr2 if they add The Forest VR
Quite enjoyed my first couple of hours. My main gripe is even with the excellent Sense controls sometimes the tracking is a bit off. Otherwise I think it's pretty decent.
Gonna pass on a quest port when a pcvr version all ready exist to work from.
Already*
Better to play Song in the Smoke
I picked up a blue frog 🐸 and I was poisoned when I tried to eat it
Just the facts the devs ported a Quest 2 game over to PSVR2 is a sin, Games that sin don't get bought.
If you want to refund the game follow this:
Open a support ticket, Tell them the game makes you very sick, They do give out refunds. I have refunded at least 3 PSVR 1 games before.
Absolutely 💯. This is so lazy it's unbelievable. Can't believe there are loading screens between areas on PS5.
They could’ve done the pc vr version just with graphics tuned a bit down
@@Mc_Lovin09they wouldn't even have to turn down the graphics.
@@kayra-bg2si they would if they didnt optimize the game since its optimized sooooooo badly on pc if they did optimize it better than yeah your probably right they wouldnt have to turn down the graphics that much if at all
@@calvin4321 you're right, I didn't think of that.
Sometimes I honestly feel like developers dont want to see vr succeed ive talked to many ppl who seem to have a fiery hatred towards vr when they havent even tried it. Some ppl act like vr is q mortal sin or something 😂😂
I think it's a bad port to psvr2, I wish I could get my money back but Sony have a policy no refund at least quest and pico give you a refund, best regards
Same
Yeah I wish Sony’s refund policy was like Steam’s. Would work so much better for buying psvr2 games because majority of the time you won’t know if you’ll like it until you buy it
Why should they give you a refund? You bought a game impatiently before checking out any reviews about the game. Serves you right
@@mikelester1977 yeah true , but still want refund 😂

Is half the price of the horizon called the mountains. They will have to put more money into it to make it better its good enough I watched the first review when the first came out. And it looks pretty hard but not too stress hard
The options developers can choose for framerate are 60 reprojected to 120, 90 standard, and 120 standard. So it's looking like 60 to 120
'Its an animal' 😆 im honestly not saying this cos i see you as a friend i genuinely mean this, youre the main channel i go to for game reviews. You get some channels that are purely optimistic and some that are purely negative... *cough cough* Gamertag Vr *cough cough*... but you go through both sides and for that i commend you
I agree with you about Bryan Paul, Wes etc..... they are practically shills for Sony.
I don`t agree GT is purely negative.
I think his viewpoint is balanced because he does not act like PC does not exist.
I don`t really understand the mentality of trying to obfuscate the reality that PC is way better (and way more expensive) than everything else for VR.
It is obvious that you get what you pay for.
I`m currently playing Cyberpunk 2077 in VR on a 4090 and it is just stunning in terms of visuals , immersion and scope. Way better than any native VR ever made.
@@decadent.That's not an apostrophe bro
Thank you for the excellent video and for comparing this game to Song In The Smoke, I bought Rekindled for psvr2 and I am still enjoying it and Resident Evil so I'll be sure to give this game a purchase
This is dumb and sad. I mean, I don’t have a PSVR2, but a Quest. However, PSVR2 could’ve brought the PC version into the PS5 with ease. I love Green Hell on my Quest, but it’s sad to see a machine more capable of handling a better version get the version that is the bare minimum.
Im pritty dissapointed with it so far. Thought the psvr2 version would visually way better, my character doesn't even have legs 😂.
It's the exact same assets that are in the "Walking Dead" game. The same health bar, the same backpack, everything. Lame AF.
I bought it and am pretty disappointed tbh. I wish Sony allowed refunds

@@mrsynapse nice one, I'll have a look at that tomorrow
@@mrsynapse Just got it refunded, cheers for that!
You are welcome.@@skajme
It’s sad Sony is taking this route after Capcom released a banger like RE village. Setting the standard for psvr2. To port a quest 2 game is just a slap in the face to psvr2 owners who know the hardware’s capabilities. It’s just plain lazy by the devs and a cash grab scheme.
lazy port
No bueno. Glad I didnt buy it when it came out.
Hardly looks better than the Quest 2 version
So quest2 port is mean it doesn't have a happtic feedback??
It does have haptics
Thanks! You saved me 20€ with a great review. Was looking forward for Green Hell VR, but the original open world experience and not a rip off quest experience
Its 60 fps re-projected. The system does not support 90 re-projected.
it did
crap game, and to hard. Also weird controls
Not open world, hard pass.
Is the VR Green Hell the complete Green Hell game or an off shoot of the non-vr Green Hell? Which is better in story, game play and content?
It's a stripped down version of the original Green Hell.
The graphics stutter a ton when you’re turning.
I’ve been asking whether it was the quest or PC version ever since it was announced… Why the fuck have they chosen the Quest port?!
Visuals, noises, physics, and animals are great but apart from that it's quite boring. Wish I didn't buy it but also not bothered since I'll have it for when co op releases
If
@@Alien_Informant it will 😆
