You are correct about the light clutch pedal, the first time I got in my car after getting the Twin Clutch install I push on the pedal and hit the floor.... I thought it was broken but as you said after a few week of getting us to it, I love it
Hey Richard. Great video. I’m considering upgrading to a twin plate clutch when my OEM unit needs replacing. One question: After I purchase the kit from you how do I get it installed? This job is above my DIY skill. Would the dealer be willing to do an aftermarket install? Or do I need to find performance shop up here in the Boston area.? I’m assuming this isn’t a job for MIDAS.
Many dealerships are okay with installing aftermarket parts so long as you discuss it with them in advance. I can't speak for any single dealership, so you'll need to talk to your local one to get an idea of what they'll do (or won't do). The clutch itself is OEM so they can't use that as excuse not to do it :)
Great video as always,,,,I own the 4,3 Vantage exactly the same as yours but right hand drive as in the UK,,,,,what’s the cost from yourself for the Velocity twin plate clutch package for my vehicle,,it’s a 2007 model and still on the original single plate clutch
VelocityAP has a distributor in England so I direct all my UK customers to them. It's David Appleby Engineering in Brackley, give them a call and they'll take great care of you.
Really love your vids thankyou for the great knowledge. I'm experiencing some gear chatter at low speeds. Do you have any recommendations on how to dampen that grinding sound? Would the Motul 300 help?
Hey Rich, GREAT video as always! Little off topic, but you are my go to guy, after all. Used up my tires at Area 27 with Stuart and the boys a couple weeks ago and am now looking to replace. I'm going with the Pilot Sport 4S again but was wondering about widening them a bit. 285/35 rears and 245/40 fronts. Your thoughts?
hi Richard, great video as always! One question, since in Italy I do not have the possibility to have the double clutch fitted, I understood well that I can mount the whole transmission unit of the 4.7 (flywheel + clutch + pressure plate) also on my 4.3 with an improvement also in the pedal response ( as well as the wallet) ? thank's a lot for help me

Thanks for all the info Rich... Can't wait to get back home from traveling and start working and using my V8VS.
Seeking help finding a clutch kit for a 07 v8 vantage paddle shift
This is a well made video. How does it have so little views?
Great video mate!
Thank you sir!
Will you also do a video on how to change the clutch or is this something too complicated for the audience? It would be great video ;)

Great video mate. What about carbon fiber driveshaft? Would that help further besides the lightweight flywheel?
Already has one!
