Looks like some really nice hay there Monty. Those were some "Healthy" sized windrows you had raked up. Thanks for the ride alongs. Take care.

See the Case rake doing work, the dang tongue broke clean off of mine last time I was raking. Got to get it welded back on and ready for the next time we head to the field.

Yes the case rake works well for me. Good luck with your repairs.

That’s a great video, good sized windrows and the 330 appears to be taking the hay fine. Couple of questions if you don’t mind. Looking at your older video replacing the pickup tines, was the additional length of the tines noticeably beneficial picking up the hay and getting it into the baler? I also noticed you have what appears to be a full set of compression rods on your pickup compression rack. Do you run the full set in heavy hay like in this video? Taking notes here in VA for use with my 335…. Thanks!

Thanks. Yes the 330 takes hay very well. It will take all you can shove in it and more. It's amazing how much hay it takes. Yes the longer pickup teeth made quite a bit of deference in how it picks up hay. I'm glad I replaced them. Yes I run a full set of compression rods. It helps with feeding hay into the bale chamber. I made the extra rods out of 3/8 rod I picked up a Lowe's. I used an original for a pattern. They lasted two seasons and now I have lost two of them. I guess I will break down and pay mother deere there hi price for new ones. LOL. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Is that an 84 series on the rake? Got a 784 new in 1982, still going with only minor repairs. And what is on the baler?

Yes, it's a 584 and a 1086 on the baler. Thanks for watching and commenting.
