I’m a Diehard find fan. I’ve been a Tua supporter and defender. I don’t think he’s earned 50 plus mil a year. Has not won a game in the cold and hasn’t won a playoff game. He has had concussions. Give him 40 mil a year if he continues to reject make him play at the 23 mil and see how he does this upcoming year.
Completely agree with you bro he is accurate like no other quarterback and his arm is getting stronger and this team is built around him and now I truly believe with this team it's second year I think they're going to come through and he's going to have another crazy at Goodyear they need to sign them for in between 40 and 50 but I would pay him top dollar they're not going to get better than him there's nobody out there
What has Herbert done to deserve his contract?
The market is what it is, Dak got extensions with a marginal playoff record, The Dolphins hadn't sniffed the playoffs since Dan Marino played till Tua arrived. If I'm him, no way I start the season without a contract extension. He's proven they are headed in the right direction. Their alternative is to scrap every asset they have and start from the ground up. They're not gonna do that when they are on the doorstep of something special.

Play games? The guy was at OTAs today when ppl acting like he was gonna hold out. Plus all we know is that he turned down 1 offer which is common in almost every negotiation. You never take the first offer because it’s likely a low ball offer, hence why it’s called a negotiation. A deal will get done before the start of the season.

@@pepelapew369 who tf said he’s holding out? He was literally at OTAs yesterday and he even said at his luau last month that he would be there regardless of the contract situation.
Also it’s not about him turning down a low ball offer as that is common in almost every contract negotiation for any player. Dolphins front office will start on the low side, Tua and his agent will be on the high side then they “negotiate” and find a middle ground that satisfies both camps. Like that’s literally how it works! Tua is a standup guy and holding out is not in his character. They’ll get a deal done by the start of training camp, I’m fairly confident in that.

Tua statistically his numbers were great thanks for his head coach and the players around him but Tua needs to play better in the playoffs. Drake Maye who looks like he is absolutely zero Aura at all so I think he’s going to be a draft bust I’m not joking at least though they decided hey if we’re going to draft a bust it’s not going to be because NE didn’t give him enough support so they drafted a 2 WRs, OT, OG. So Tua/Burrow drafted same year - Tua coming off a potentially-career-ending hip injury... and after their 4th season. Tua - 53 games, Burrow - 52 games.
We're talking about AVAILability..... so why is the narrative different for Tua? Outside of the fluke concussions in 2022 - he's only missed a few games due to one of the worst OLines in history his first 2 years.
Burrow has helped his team get multiple division titles, 2 afc championship game appearances and a Super Bowl appearance. He’s earned the benefit of the doubt. What has Tua done?

They can. Now that Baker got that deal signed in Tampa, if I were the Fins GM I'd figure out a trade and bring Trask to Miami. He was a second rounder from UF, pretty serviceable option for the Dolphins in the short term until they can figure something better out.

The Dolphins GM Chris Grier has said to the media earlier this year that TUA's INJURY HISTORY WILL NOT BE A FACTOR IN THE CONTRACT NEGOTIATION. Just like Joe Burrow whose missed more games than Tua. So , like Fan said..This is a No Brainier and Tua will get the contract he so deserves and wants.

Tua is not Super Bowl QB Jared Goff who doesn't get concussions. Goff is the only QB in NFL history w/over 30,000 yards and under 100 Ints.
