Will really miss teaching and collaborating with Jamboard, started using it during Covid, with time realised that some options are limited though. Time to move on Look forward to using figjam. Thanks for the video
The point of using Jamboard was exactly its simplicity. Jamboard is very kids friendly. I'm used to have my students interacting with me on jamboard because it has clean UI with simple intuitive buttons. I'm afraid it will not be the same with other platforms. They can be quite overwhelming for kids. Rip jamboard.
Hi John, I just received 7 x 55" jam boards. What can I do with them? I can use them for 55" monitors with source in, is there a software I can install? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Google indicated that they would be compensating customers who recently purchased physical Jamboards. You should receive communication from your reseller if you are eligible for a refund.
Doesn't look like it. My understanding is that Jamboard was technically a business project, but wasn't popular with business customers. The EDU team didn't have the personnel to manage it, so it was discontinued. 😓
Can you go from the individual frame (thumbnail) view to something more like Jamboard where students can progress through the "boards"? In other words, when I click on a frame, I want it to enlarge and look like it did in Jamboard. Thanks in advance for any info. Regards, Lorraine
In which tool? Google slides has a "filmstrip" view and full screen view, like jamboard. Figjam is an infinite canvas...you zoom in to work and zoom out to move.
Huh Any good replacements you guys know of? I am currently making a project with a friend and there's vital information there so I need to move it somewhere we both can access

Figma is offering a way you can use jamboard hardware with their software.
What of the physical Jamboards? The displays with jamboard and hangout apps built in?

Is there any chance that Google won´t end the support for the Jamboard? What do you think? It is a great tool for education - sweet & simple.

I suggested five alternatives in this video.
@@jrsowash thanks!
What does this mean for the current Level 2 exam? Would a change not go into effect until January 2024?
No immediate changes, but the jamboard questions will be removed sometimes next year, I expect
NotebookCast whiteboard can be a very simple, yet powerful alternative to Jamboard 🐦🐦🐦
