However, the reincarnation detail has not been proven nor will it ever be proven most-likely, but it seems so reasonable that it could possibly be the truth. FFX-2 is pretty confusing when you try to break down all the possiblilities for the backstory of why so much resemblence between Shuyin, Lenne, Tidus, and Yuna is included, both in their personalities and in their character... and I think I got WAY to far into detail in this lolz...

so you press the x button to get the fayth scene that'll get the good endings? I tried that and i got the sad ending. I got episode complete in both Besaid and Luca and i even got 100%! That was my first time getting 100% so am i supposed to play through on new game plus with 100% to get it or something? Or did you cut a part out which i don't think is the case. Someone answer because what i got made no sense.

I didn't read all the comments so I don't know if anybody mentioned about it, so i thought of pointing it out. The whole reuniting thing should be in better graphics, man... and the position he was in... I only managed to get to Chapter 2 and gave up. But thanks for submitting this! I have the OST and always wondered what that song came from. (I figured it would be at the end..)

The voice actress for Lenne is Cree Summer. If you have ever watched "Clifford the Big Red Dog" on PBS (I have a 5-year-old brother), Cree Summer also does the voice for Cleo, the purple poodle. I guess you can see the resemblance. ^_^ I wouldn't call it old, either... different... not old
I agree with this, that's what I thought when I saw these movies with Shuyin in them. Especially since both of those characters share the same voice actor, have the same battle moves (albeit different names for them), both are blitzball players and both love summoners.
Lenne and Shuyin's story break my heart. I am so glad I could see them together again. When I think of something like this happening between me and my husband...it hurts, and makes me understand and feel for them so much. I'm glad they could be together forever in the end, and Tidus and Yuna too.

yes you can see it like that, Tidus is Shuyin in dream world and Shuyin is Tidus in real world. At the end of FFX2 Tidus was brought back from the farplane to the real world, That Tidus is the same person as the Tidus from FFX.

Zanarkand and Bevelle were battling, Zanarkand had summoners while Bevelle had machina, The summoners were losing so Shuyin went to Bevelle to use Vegnagun to destory Bevelle but Lenne found out what he was doing and stoped him. They were then killed by Bevelle soldiers.

actually, the real question is "tidus knows all of shuyins moves?" because tidus is the version of shuyin in the fayths dream zanarkand, thats why they share face, moves, voice, ability in the blitz and even personality, but shuyins cheerfulness was completely vanished inside his despair and sorrow

Its not that complicated :) Shuyin and Lenne died. Yu-Yevon (father of Yunalesca and mayor of ancient zanarkand) coverted while the machina-war 1000 years before ffx all surviving people from zanarkand into astra, who then dreamt themselves.As Shuyin was also dead and a ghost he could not dream Tidus!Tidus was dreamt by another asthra maybe remembering shuyin maybe not.Yuna and Lenne were not similar. Just the dresssphere in FF X2 made a connection.
Everything about FFX-2 is soo cool!! I remember when I had alot of equipment and the attacks were stronger and the HP was soo high! I wish i had this game again... :(
You have your information wrong. The real Zanarkan that Lenne and Shuyin lived on perished a 1000 years before the first game. But, Yu Yevon the leader of that Zanarkan decided to make a dream Zanarkan and had all the surviving citizens become fayth to make that happen, then he put the dream Zanarkand out in the middle of the ocean. Even though the Citizens in the dream Zanarkand start off as dreams, once they are created they become real to make their own choices.
I forget the details but basically, long ago, Spira was destroyed and all it's people were turned into 'memories'. Shuyin's 'memory' became Tidus so in reality, Tidus was never an entity of his own. Lenne and Shuyin were shot down together a thousand years ago and the clothes that Yuna changed into were Lenne's so she received her memories in a way, which is why Shuyin mistook Yuna for Lenne at first.
Jecht was a dream too, all of Tidus's Zanarkand was a dream. You can get the Dark Knight dressphere in Bevelle Underground. Any FFX/FFX-2 questions just message me.

Yu Yevon summoned Dream Zanarkand, for the dreams of the Fayth to live. In order for the Fayth to stop dreaming, Yu Yevon would have needed to stop summoning Sin and Dream Zanarkand, so the only way to stop the summon was to defeat Yu Yevon, which he was, so the Fayth stopped dreaming, and hence the dreams were erased.
@goldenrod666 He obviously does NOT look like Tidus whatsoever. Tidus is just an illusion formed having the similar looks of this man, Shuyin, by the Fayth. Tidus is just an image of Shuyin. ^ ^ And Lenne is a summoner, and also Shuyin's lover; they both died together in Bevelle. Lenne's spirit still "lives" in the Songstress dressphere, which causes Shuyin (when he possessed Baralai) to see Lenne instead of Yuna.
yep, then u will get the normal ending. And if you want to know what will happen to tidus in this case, uhm i dont know it isn't realy explained, but i think he would remained at the farplane with Jecht, Auron and Braska.
the world was at war, and lenne has been captured so shuyin decided to awake vegnagun so he can save her...but she appeared in that moment and told him to stop..and so he did in that moment the army appeared and shooted them but the ghost of shuyin couldnt find peace, cox he felt guilty for not being able of saving lenne, so for 1000years he tryed to awake vegnagun and have his revenge but as you see, in the end they stay together, and both rest in peace :)
Theres a reason for that; (spoiler)--------- Tidus was born of the memories of zanarkand as part of the fayth's 'dream', which is why he ceased to be when the dream ended. Its unclear how much of Tidus's life there was real and how much was linked to memories (ie of shuyin). Seems to me anyway, pls correct me ^^
yes, sorta. its a little difficult. in a nutshell: yuna's dress sphere used to belong to Lenne and her memories are trapped/stored inside. Yuna thinks shu is tidus cos of a sphere she finds in the begining of the game of a trapped shu. since the sphere vid was old and bad and cos shu looks like tidus, she thought that tidus came back and was captured somewhere. Big nutshell huh? :p

actually, the real question is "tidus knows all of shuyins moves?" because tidus is the version of shuyin in the fayths dream zanarkand, thats why they share face, moves, voice, ability in the blitz and even personality, but shuyins cheerfulness was completely vanished inside his despair and sorrow

It didn't load the whole thing. I am very sad. i wanted to see his spirit find Lene. It stops loading after 2:42. I am so upset! I want to see what happens.

Its not that complicated :) Shuyin and Lenne died. Yu-Yevon (father of Yunalesca and mayor of ancient zanarkand) coverted while the machina-war 1000 years before ffx all surviving people from zanarkand into astra, who then dreamt themselves.As Shuyin was also dead and a ghost he could not dream Tidus!Tidus was dreamt by another asthra maybe remembering shuyin maybe not.Yuna and Lenne were not similar. Just the dresssphere in FF X2 made a connection.
Everything about FFX-2 is soo cool!! I remember when I had alot of equipment and the attacks were stronger and the HP was soo high! I wish i had this game again... :(

You have your information wrong. The real Zanarkan that Lenne and Shuyin lived on perished a 1000 years before the first game. But, Yu Yevon the leader of that Zanarkan decided to make a dream Zanarkan and had all the surviving citizens become fayth to make that happen, then he put the dream Zanarkand out in the middle of the ocean. Even though the Citizens in the dream Zanarkand start off as dreams, once they are created they become real to make their own choices.

I forget the details but basically, long ago, Spira was destroyed and all it's people were turned into 'memories'. Shuyin's 'memory' became Tidus so in reality, Tidus was never an entity of his own. Lenne and Shuyin were shot down together a thousand years ago and the clothes that Yuna changed into were Lenne's so she received her memories in a way, which is why Shuyin mistook Yuna for Lenne at first.
that's not Tidus, & if you watched my X-2 walkthroughs you'd know why he was mistakingly calling Yuna "Lenne"

Yu Yevon summoned Dream Zanarkand, for the dreams of the Fayth to live. In order for the Fayth to stop dreaming, Yu Yevon would have needed to stop summoning Sin and Dream Zanarkand, so the only way to stop the summon was to defeat Yu Yevon, which he was, so the Fayth stopped dreaming, and hence the dreams were erased.

@goldenrod666 He obviously does NOT look like Tidus whatsoever. Tidus is just an illusion formed having the similar looks of this man, Shuyin, by the Fayth. Tidus is just an image of Shuyin. ^ ^ And Lenne is a summoner, and also Shuyin's lover; they both died together in Bevelle. Lenne's spirit still "lives" in the Songstress dressphere, which causes Shuyin (when he possessed Baralai) to see Lenne instead of Yuna.

the world was at war, and lenne has been captured
so shuyin decided to awake vegnagun so he can save her...but she appeared in that moment and told him to stop..and so he did
in that moment the army appeared and shooted them
but the ghost of shuyin couldnt find peace, cox he felt guilty for not being able of saving lenne, so for 1000years he tryed to awake vegnagun and have his revenge
but as you see, in the end they stay together, and both rest in peace :)

Tidus was born of the memories of zanarkand as part of the fayth's 'dream', which is why he ceased to be when the dream ended. Its unclear how much of Tidus's life there was real and how much was linked to memories (ie of shuyin). Seems to me anyway, pls correct me ^^
the farplane monsters & he monsters in via infinito are wicked for levelling.
This was sad because image being in lennes body and feeling what she was feeling and Shuyin too. But this was at the same time Happy!
yes, sorta. its a little difficult. in a nutshell: yuna's dress sphere used to belong to Lenne and her memories are trapped/stored inside. Yuna thinks shu is tidus cos of a sphere she finds in the begining of the game of a trapped shu. since the sphere vid was old and bad and cos shu looks like tidus, she thought that tidus came back and was captured somewhere. Big nutshell huh? :p
Right i get tidus and shuyin are the same person. What happens now shuyin and lenne have "faded"? and yuna wishes to see "him"?
does like she get to talk to shuyin or tidus? or does it mean that tidus is able to stay in the normal world as a seperate enterty to shiuyin (gets to stay alive)? im confuissed by this
