WHY I WON’T BE BUYING THE NEW AUDI A3/S3! 🇩🇪 Since I passed my driving test almost ten years ago and A3/S3/RS3 has always been my REALISTIC dream car. However due to finances I have still got the same car I bought when I was 16 and that I learned to drive in. The new shape A3/S3/RS3 is a car that I would LOVE to buy however I will not be due to one reason… the UK spec compared to the EU spec. Looking at videos of the new shape A3 on RUclips, they just have such a better specification. Red diamond stitched seats, red stitching on the steering wheel, aluminium foot rests and Akrapovic exhaust option (S3). NONE of which is available to spec on the UK Audi configurator! It may sound silly but when you are spending £30k plus on a “luxury” brand vehicle like an Audi, you want it to feel premium (particularly inside the cabin) and although they may be petulant little details to some people, I feel they all add up to make a MASSIVE difference! I am very disappointed with Audi and I will be keeping my old sh*tbox unless they decide to improve the specification options on the new A3 series!
Way too much plastics for a "premium" car, some geralists carmakers use better materials for less money I think Audi in general is going down the road now
