He can probably out-play almost all the people worrying about his terminology and parts knowledge lol. Scott's super cool at the Worcester Mass show me and the wife had VIP passes and I asked a couple questions about his new signature Ibanez and he had his Tech bring the guitar up so I can play with it for a few minutes and feel things like neck Contour without having to explain it sort of thing. very very down-to-earth very cool guy. All the guys were very cool
i have this guitar and its a beast. my fav guitar for 3 years now. FYI i have owned over 30 guitars. You wont regret buying this. The sound is just perfect!

Scott's a funny guy, I enjoyed the insight and the humor! I was surprised to finally see an Axe 8 in use. I have a traditional rig and an Axe 8 rig, which of course is just that little box. Both are equally useful, inspiring and enjoyable to me.
It seems more to me that Ibanez is just really limiting with what they let people do for there first sig, all of the math rock guys have literally the exact same guitar with different color schemes
@16:00 - on Scott's comments about the switch selector, I agree that getting the right setting fast can be a bit of luck. I wonder if anyone has ever rigged a button system for the pickups where you just have 5 buttons you can depress to move quickly into a chosen setting. I also might not put it in the same place but find another spot for it. Just a thought...

They aren’t associated with Fender, it has to do with copyright laws. He’s saying an SSS Ibanez AZ would look to close to a Fender Strat and Fender didn’t like that. I mean granted, Fender has HSS Strats so I’m not really sure why it’s just the SSS Ibanez AZ they weren’t happy about.
