The first movie is an entirely one man show, with him doing the acting, directing, editing and ofc filming which is why it's a found footage style movie. I originally watched the first few with my mom around Halloween last year, and whilst they can be pretty frightening in places, they're also pretty funny too, both because of the main characters disposition towards the haunting, and occasionally his ill-conceived attempts to get rid of it.
Let's be honest here: If most horror games had a "Swear On Command" button, they would be considerably more entertaining. I know I would be laughing my ass off if you could face off against a horde of zombies in RE and just have your character screaming curses whilst fighting, because that is honestly more accurate.

Having never heard of the Bad Ben series this is connected to, I can't say I expected this but it did make me laugh and that's all I can ask for from this. The unlockable shotgun is probably the best gag in the game.
i appreciate how diligent manly is in finding all dialogue options and endings in these games, but no manly trope makes me laugh harder than him completely missing scripted scares because he wasn't paying attention (4:20)
I swear sometimes I think I hallucinated that entire show. It never made me laugh but...I just, it was this neverending wtf congo of acid trip daydreams that was hard to look away from. I don't think anyone can get as high as the writers for that show.

I want to point out that Bad Ben is a movie series on Amazon Prime, its a real thing with at least 8 movies under the name, all made by Nigal Bach who plays Tom Riley in his own house. Its truly a amazing look into this man's weird and funny love of cheap horror and I recommend everyone go watch it because he does it all independently with his family and friends. My favorites are the prequel movie and crescent moon clown!!! :)
I like how you wouldn't be able to see the suit of armor at the top of the stairs, so they moved it, it's iconic and I'd be disappointed if it wasn't there.

I always find games with Resident Evil Camera movement's weird, like your camera is in a corner and it makes character movement a bit tricky but it makes great horrors.
I love this franchise so much, all the movies are on amazon prime last I checked. Seeing that they made a game off it is absolutely hilarious, definitely going to watch this a few times
20 seconds in and I already laughed at the title screen and the instructions. It's like I'm watching an elder AVGN character move around in real time. It's the full horror experience through and through, truly for veterans of the genre.
