@Chloe Cho Had a dream where our house was turned into a SAW scenario, my family members and I were mutilated but we can still talk. The best thing was that we get to casually talk with the ghost perpetuators, and have ourselves "respawn" and choose a spot in the house to die. As much dedication as The Janitor from Willy's Wonderland except that he isn't trapped with the "scary ass roomates" of that place. They're trapped there with him.
The idea of someone insisting they should still do laundry while they have a surreal house guest is genuinely hilarious- like yeah this thing wants to kill me but I’ll be damned if I don’t take this trash out
Feels like the main character is schizophrenic, tbh, and is just sort of living with persistent hallucinations. At least, it reminds me of that (RPGMaker) game where a shadowy intruder nobody else could see was chasing the main character, and that's the twist in that.

I'm pretty sure I've had a dream very similar to "I have to make carrot juice in the dark and also avoid a strange entity in my house. I don't know why i have to make carrot juice but I know I'm afraid"
I'm going to take a guess at an interpretation. It's a hikikomori. His mom is always after him. His brother is away (at college) for a long time. He had fond memories of his brother, but after his brother returned his "dark side" won and his brother started to be hard on him too. His little sister is benign, just telling him what to do, and his dad is the rarely seen giant outside, occasionally peaking in the window. You can either leave at which point you become the monsters from before because you also become "normal" like them, or you go down the hatch which I consider to be a suicide allegory.
That's a good interpretation. Also fits in with how it is night all the time (the player character only leaves his room during the night, which is something hihikomoris tend to do). He is aware of people outside his house (neighbours and passerby), but doesn't think of interacting with them.
My curiosity has finally been satisfied thanks to you. I've been searching in every comment section about this game if ever anyone had their own interpretation/theory about the meaning behind the game. After reading your analysis, it makes so much more sense than how the game itself executed it.
True fear is having way too many places to hide. If you have only a few, you know you probably only have to worry a little bit about hiding. If you have this many, you know you're never safe
Sorry I don't think I follow. More places to hide, even if more obvious, means the person checks through more and you have a more likely chance of getting away you know? If you have less, wouldn't the chaser not exactly overlook any potential hiding places since there's so few?

6:58 10/10 would yell at home intruders who want to bother you while you're trying to do some chores For a horror game, the gameplay turned it into a comedy. Sasuga Manly and his forbidden techniques.
The one thing that got me about this game is the speed in which the crazy lady moves through the house. It's super quick, fast enough that it breaks the narrative. If you're trespassing in someone else's home, conventional logic says you'd slowly make your way around, while monitoring anything suspicious. I can see, say if the lady runs into the player, (or vice versa) her pursuing the player quickly and violently. But she's making her way around the place, fearlessly and quickly, like she's been there for 25 years.
This game is too funny😭😭. She's living in your house, eating your food, living in your basement yet you're the one who has to hide from her?? If I'm dead who's gonna pay the bills lady? I'd start making her pay rent since she wants to turn the house into an obstacle course🙄

I actually haven’t laughed this hard at someone playing a horror game in a while lmao. The bit where she was glitched to the wall so the jumpscare wasn’t triggering was gold. Just her goofy stare, the moonwalk, the dramatic music- Manly telling her off like she’s a toddler about to go off an do something they were explicitly told not to do and the jumpscare- just wonderful lmao
Oh my god your sense of humor is legit a true gamer humor. “I’ve been garry’s modded” after seeing the face of the girl looking like gmod face modifiers
This game reminded me of my days in the woods. I was living in a small wooden house (it was a challenge of some kind)and there were strange noises around it every night. Every kidnapper is just a means of transportation you haven’t met.
Me: *Laughs in Welcome To The Game*
i like your attitude
Oh yeah, I remember one time there was a wide-eyed intruder just walking around to kill me, and for some reason, the night never ended so I decided to wash my clothes and clean the house. Normal stuff over here
The title screen is my greatest fear when i live alone just someone watching around the corner :(
With that username its even more concerning
Who knows what they'd see
@@ZaWildCard oh they see a lot of shit mate...
I assume you've seen Welcome to the Game 2? While I generally fear this type of scenario, that one kidnapper in WttG2 made it pretty good in terms of anxiety level

“It’s over Aniki! I have the high ground!”
I can't sympathize with a protagonist who does his laundry in the midst of a home invasion.
He has priority straight, man
majima would
I can’t sympathize with a man who doesn’t leave the place in which he resides, and himself, in proper shape And cleanliness
Lmao "home invasion"
This is literally the funniest horror game of all time
Manly: "It's a little outside area."
Also Manly: "And it's HUUUUUGGEEEEE."
10:44 The "I'm a floor" killed me. 😂😂😂
That sure was... something.
Exactly what I’m not sure but the ‘EeeHhHh’ sound from the woman is hilarious. Been stuck in my head all day.
Manly yelling "Aniki! Aniki!" Is too dang adorable I can't-
1:12 - Hey, look it's "Magazine"! No way... I love "Magazine" , it's my favorite.
I know MBH may not find this scary because he's such a Chad but omfg I find that thing spooky when its chasing you. The delivery person was a good bit too
@stonk he is manlybadasshero
This game is deceptively good. Like, it looks like some cheap thoughtless 5 minute unity game, but has some cool scares and really spooky atmosphere
@@JohnZombi88think you're a bit too cynical. I'm not a zoomer but it was pretty decent for a short cheap horror game. Within context of the type of game it is. The intro itself where it shows how the monster got in via show don't tell puts it above most horror games as is. Shows some thought is put to it. The teleporting spider woman on the wall was a pretty good spook.
Oh god I was laughing so hard. The noise is like the "most annoying sound ever" Jim Carrey does in Dumb and Dumber.
WHY IS THAT SO ACCURATE
I'm so glad someone else was able to point that out. Lmao
This made me laugh, and the video infinitely better
God, Manly genuinely always makes my day- there hasn't been a day in the past 3 years where I've watched him and I haven't smiled. He's made me so happy and given me hope...Thank you, Manly. You don't know how much you genuinely mean to me and so many others
Are you doing ok?
@@Rizimar currently? I'd like to say yes but honestly no? I have recourses though, so I should be fine. Thank you for asking.
Things will be better
time to become paranoid about my own house.
Dont say that because then I'm gonna get nervous
I just don't watch these when Im home alone lmao
@Mialisus ur that one friend u have to explain to ur other friends
Manly nervously laughing while saying, "don't you neeeuh me!", is a golden moment. This game, is like nightmare fever dream; you're scared, but so much weird shit is happening you're mostly confused.
6:50 DON'T YOU EEEEHHHH ME!
hardest laughed XD
IT WAS UNEXPECTED LMFAOOO
6:58 10/10 would yell at home intruders who want to bother you while you're trying to do some chores
For a horror game, the gameplay turned it into a comedy. Sasuga Manly and his forbidden techniques.
"They're eating her... AND THEN THEY'RE GOING TO EAT ME!"
(cue Manly)

*OH MY GAAAAAAAWWWWWDDDDDDDDDDDDDD*
The one thing that got me about this game is the speed in which the crazy lady moves through the house. It's super quick, fast enough that it breaks the narrative. If you're trespassing in someone else's home, conventional logic says you'd slowly make your way around, while monitoring anything suspicious. I can see, say if the lady runs into the player, (or vice versa) her pursuing the player quickly and violently. But she's making her way around the place, fearlessly and quickly, like she's been there for 25 years.
with how easily she broke in I think it’s safe to assume she’s been watching the protag for a while
Well it official manly is my favorite let’s player! Soothing, thorough, goofy/intellectual, and…. Well badass of corse.
Not to mention, manly and heroic.
Never before have I seen a game where running away from a monster is terrifying but actually being caught by it is hilarious. I love it.
1:38 This is now officially the best horror game out there.
This game is too funny😭😭. She's living in your house, eating your food, living in your basement yet you're the one who has to hide from her?? If I'm dead who's gonna pay the bills lady? I'd start making her pay rent since she wants to turn the house into an obstacle course🙄
Thanks!
This feels like when my mom is chasing me with a belt after I forgot to flush the toilet when I was a kid.
One of Sun Tzu's finest quotes, honestly.
LMAO
That can, and will be, the scariest horror game in existence.

Be proud that I’m gonna watch this in a dark room
Aww same
Same
Same, and I'm alone and my teddy bear is in the other room
Same im alone in my dark room
You guys have your own rooms?
Aniki's jumpscare faces are probably the most terrifying thing about this game I'm ngl
this game has the right amount of jank
It's a mixture of Jazz, and Funk. It's called, "Junk."
Its acceptably jank, because some of those janks helped us
That was great, watching you fight jank with jank. That was the most intense game of doing household chores I've ever seen.
If I ever had an intruder stalking me in my house, I'll honestly will feel bad for them since they'll have to watch some horrible horrible kinky shits I've been doing in my own room
Same
In my case the would see it thought the entire house. So....

I'm at work, eating a brownie, jumpscare at 6:15 hits, I throw my brownie and jump like I've been electrocuted, everyone stared at me for what felt like a minute. Thanks manly.
This game is janky but honestly has a sort of hearty feel to it, y’know? It’s also hard as hell though. Weird plot too.
I don't know why, but the fact they're wearing pajamas disturbs me
Well it is always night there so...
Makes you think how long they've been there and that they must of been comfortable living there.
Ghost Lady: * in his house *
The Guy: "I'm gonna clean my house for a change"
24:02 "We are being Trash-Jumpscared" Welp,Manly. We are being Trashscared.
Can you even call this secretly anymore? It feels like YOU'RE the intruder with you running all over the place trying to hide from her.
Moral of the game:
Don't do mushrooms.
Say this to every channel who does but: thank you for making content that helps me get through my more boring work days.
I grabbed my crossbow and shot a bolt in the darkness. I heard a horrible scream and this thing never visited me again. Next morning my friend told me that I shot a methed-up burglar who even did her time in prison for murdering her sister. I didn't kill her, just got her in the leg. So, basically, there are literally humanoid monsters in our forrests.
Fake and gay
Wow, the commentary in this one has been one of the funniest things I've heard from you. I can't stop laughing! You really brought your A game in this one!
I've watched others play this, and the calm demeanor of Manlybadasshero really shines through here.

I love the janky funny creepiness. 😄 I love the bits of dialog cutscenes mixed in this too. These chase and hide games don't usually have that.
