Hey Vegeta, I think it would be awesome if we could see Sekiganryu vs ACE. It would be Ryu-Guile perfection that I'm sure any SF fan would love. So maybe you could ask them both, since they're both (I think) Japanese. Anyway, this was an awesome upload as usual, love seeing Seki, it's pretty rare too.
I personally don't think Levi is in the top 3 Kens, BUT he did play this match the way he should. Anybody that thinks otherwise doesn't know the matchup. I don't care if you main Ken or not this is the hardest matchup for Ken to master. Ryu's fireball is better and he out-footsies Ken. Ken has to get the HARD KNOCKDOWN on ryu to pose a threat. And sekigan would whiff punish step kick so tell me...Ken geniuses, 1.how did Levi suck in this set? 2.how did he play this match wrong?
let Playerjun fight Seki ..he'll put on a better show than Levis. Btw that far st.MP to overhead MK that levis did after knockdown is a useful trick.. you'll be surprised how often ppl get hit by it, thinking that you might go for the sweep or throw after the punch. learned it from Ichi ken : )
I totally feel you in all expressed sentiments. At the very least! His srk should be better but is much worse! Wtf?? And his hurricane kicks! Worse?? Why, when he's all about the kicks. Worse cr mp, cr mk, sweep, cr hp, overhead, walk speed, fireball, jump attacks, dashes, damage output, super, x-ups, you name it. Ken just got dat style
I second that Sir. At the very least, Capcom should fix all his kicks for better frame advantage & possibly more damage. And why in the world did they take his 7-frame cr.rh away? Oh yeah, and why can you get a knockdown w/ Ryu's light tatsu? You can't even get a knockdown w/ Ken's EX tatsu. lol
Two things I have learned from this set. Seki has good reaction and intuition. Levi does too, but the thing that seperates them is the fact Levi isn't a scared little pussy like Seki. You see that Levi starts to win again when applying Seki methods of just stand there and wait for the opponent to make a move. Levi > Seki
Its really sad that its such a big discrepancy in frame date when its ken vs ryu....the 2 classic characters in the game that have the same specials. Ryu excells in everything. Better walk speed....better fbs....better normals. Especially cr. Mk... Ken has to work so hard to get in and thats crazy. Hell kens srk isnt even as good as ryu imo...and im a ken main....this matchup just sucks ass for ken.

My face scrunches up every time Sekiganryu lands an Anti-Air, Air-2-Air, or lands a perfectly placed sweep under Ken's kicks. Ridiculous play.
