If Ben Sim is healthy enough to play, he is a great addition to the Clippers. Passing, defending, rebounding, and ballhandling, plus his basketball IQ is high than all the players we let go.
Simmons as a short roll passer will be a positive. When they double harden now we have an adequate passer on the short roll, he will have norm and Bogi to find on each quarter…
I believe Ben Simons wanted to come to the Clippers for some time now. If you remember, there was a meeting with him, John Wall and PG, right before Wall came to the Clippers. I also believe the front office knew they were getting him. That's why they were confident in trading their three backup point guards.
I think he’s a nice fit, good defender, good ball handler & passer. I wouldn’t worry about locker room, Ty Lue has a great way of handling players. Go Clippers!
What if the reason the clippers gave kpj such a long leash was to show buyout guys that they will have a role and be given a chance. Also remember the relationship with Patty Mills too

@Fewsic16 if you watched, no doubt was he inconsistent, but he was starting to have more better games as the season progressed, ie trending up, and we saw that potential/ceiling, and it was nice. Finding a young, cheap guy with that potential is not easily had, especially for a team like us with such lil draft capital. This was an absolute terrible move, at worst they should have held on and sent him to the g-league for refinement... have you seen anywhere near the same potential in MarJon?
i’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt since he was at least a buy out , so like you said low risk high reward i hope he balls out for us man i been rooting for him since he came in the league
but i’ve watched at least 12-15 nets games he played in this season and idk man maybe the change of scenery will help but sometimes the offense gets super stagnant with him but we aren’t the best offensively so we don’t got much to lose lol but ben’s a clip now 💪🏽

One thing is for certain this season, Harden is not the person to lead this team as the primary ball handler. That’s what Simmons does. He should be starting and playing point power forward. He should play the same minutes as Kawhi, coming out in the 1st quarter and playing with the second unit with Kawhi starting the second and 4th quarters. If healthy, this will allow the team to move off the Harden/Lue ISO dribble dribble offense. Small ball will get run off the court in the playoffs.
This guy got too many chances and refused to show up multiple times throughout his career. People don't change who they are. Can't be trusted to do anything.
The hidden spotlight now is on Ty Lue. The Clippers now have enough pieces to compete for a title. If Ty Lue can't make this work, he needs to be traded
