  • A lot better than the soft pad. For reference I usually play around 8-11 footers with mediocre accuracy (AA) for exercise and I am happy to answer any questions.

    New Ltek EX PRO 2 pad apparently has start/select buttons as an add-on and 1ms poll rate. If you're going to spend $300 on a mat you should get that one. Also check r/dancedancerevolution for reviews

      Is that lvl 14 diff? That's impressive - I can only currently play 10s and 11s and those take a lot of concentration. The R1 in Philadelphia is still open so I may go back and play there more, but it's far easier to play and practice at home.

    Did you hook it up right out of the box? Or were there any modding steps you had to do before connecting to your laptop?

    • @qwrosu
      @qwrosu  Год назад

      no modding. also I plan on reuploading this video with some more info on my main channel so it'll show up there instead

    Thank you so much for the video! I’m currently using the ps2 dance mats. Hate it on carpet lol thinking about thinking getting this metal pads. Do you think it’s worth the price?

    • @qwrosu
      @qwrosu  2 года назад

      It is pretty expensive - I think $200 for the mat and $100 for shipping to US. I definitely think it's worth it if you are playing anything into the Expert / Challenge general range. Certainly much more convenient than driving out to Round1 and potentially waiting around to use the machines.

    Hi mate. Do you know if these work with emulators? Ps2 emulator on PC? I don’t see why not. Just map the arrows to the buttons in game

    • @qwrosu
      @qwrosu  2 месяца назад

      3:43 On my computer, these inputs are listed as Joy inputs. So your emulator needs to be able to recognize those, or use a key mapper to map them to arrow keys.

      @@qwrosu my ps1 and ps2 emulator recognise all my devices. Ps5 controller, my Thrustmaster steering wheel, my sinden light gun. So surely they’ll recognise this ltek dance Matt. Well it’s on the way anyway :) so il find out soon lol. I’m still getting to grips with stepmania. Installing new songs, no issue. That’s all good. But random movies and background animations I just can’t get to work :/

    Can these mats be used to play on the PS2? Is there an adapter that’s made, somewhere?
    I have an old metal mat from the PS2 days. I’m pretty sure it was before USB was so common.
    Really want to get a good pad for PS2.

      @qwrosu  2 года назад

      No I've only visited the arcade a few times. However there is not much of a difference. Maybe the arcade will have different sensitivity.

    • @qwrosu
      @qwrosu  2 года назад

      Never tried ITG. I assume it will work with any program that can read standard USB joystick inputs.

    They sent me wrong one … without the select bottom and they sent me lame remote so can use it select music lol … and refund me some money . Also, they sent the wrong color . the usb died after two months at least pad still works after replacing the usb cord

    • @qwrosu
      @qwrosu  2 года назад

      I've used mine with no issues so far. The USB cord is probably the most easily damaged part but it's a standard USB cable so it should be no problem to replace.
