Lord Jesus I come to you now in a state of repentance.
I know that I have not been living my life the way that I should be as a Christian.
I am so grateful for the grace that You have given me as Your child.
Lord, grant me the strength to overcome the ways of this world and to turn to You in all situations.
Help me to know You more and to desire to walk with You.
I choose today to re-commit to living my life as a follower of Jesus and to turn away from the ways of the world.

I’m using the Daily walk bible for my bible reading plan and i love it❤️❤️❤️ this is our 4th year reading the bible in a year my bible study group have weekly check in to discuss what we have learned it’s an awesome fellowship.

I'm reading this CEB Study Bible right now. (In addition to my favorite NIV and probably CSB)
The notes and references in the CEB are insanely good! They really guide you through the text; the structure. The references deepen the meaning, not just provide a second example of the concept.
Try out Genesis....I have read Genesis 15 times, but this bible gave me insights.
The notes might be more liberal than other study bibles on "Women's issues." However, I agree with them. I'm pi*^^ed off at "over the top" men's "headship" and "biblical womanhood " junk anyway. [There! I said it, now!] 😮
The translation has grown on me. It's really beautiful, in places and almost too different in other places; not different in meaning, but in terminology.
I opened my mind to it and I'm enjoying it.
