The more things change the more they stay the same. Sometimes a pivot is necessary. It's doesn't have to be a major change but sometimes the plan does have to change to get to the destination.

Your doing you and that’s awesome 👍👍👍👍
Much appreciated.
One good thing about reefer is people gotta eat so it's year round freight.
Definitely one of the reasons i picked one up for the winter
Awesome knowledge keep going bro
Yes sir thank you
Grand master chess move, well done sir. And yes it is always because of God.
I appreciate the kind words. Just trying to figure it all out.
Flatbed rates are garbage right now because of high interest rates. Reefer is seeing a small bounce. But make no mistake we are in a trucking rescession The only way to make good money out here is to run hard for cheap money on the back haul and try to avg $2.50/mile.
Very true
I went out and bought a F150 last year at the height of the freight market. I was clearing $3000/wk after expenses and fuel so $900/mo on a pickup payment wasn’t a big deal. When the market took a turn this year I sold it for what I owed on it. I have been daily driving my bobtail every weekend. If I need to run to get groceries, supplies for the truck, go out to a restaurant, anything. Like you said, it is all about sacrifice. I know where I want to be, and couldn’t justify the fancy pickup I drove for 10 days a month standing in the way of that. Great video as always Kev, can’t wait to see the videos to come!
Smart move
Thought about your freight situation when I was out in Missoula 😂 nice pivot… winter is coming and open deck is going to be rough! 💪🚛💨💨💨
Yes, sir. I'll be back in the spring. just need more time on my authority and a little better setup.
Thanks for the share. Good information.
Thank you
How much are reefers at prime ?
- I would assume the reefers at prime are a lot more expensive than the one u got ?
15k sounds like a great deal. What year is the reefer ? What sort of advice can you give me when buying a reefer ? I was also planning on heading up to Springfield. Was also thinking of hiring a thermo king mechanic for the day to inspect it for me.
Well apparently I am not sure what prime advertises and what they have. Prime was advertising them around 25K. They seem to be a little more on the open market.
Prime is selling 2016 reefers with around 13K hours.
Mine is a 2013 with 20k hours.
Love it kev! Good luck with the frozen chickens!
Don't remind me lol. Try to avoid the chicken plants but $$ is $$
I understand! Keep her working and you'll get there
@jacobhaugen7913 yes sir
Hey man, good switch in my opinion. $15K for a reefer trailer seems like a crazy good deal. Keep chippin away at it man! Good work
Thanks man
Hey kev quick question. I'm looking to buy a truck cash. 70-80K used. I waz looking at trucks from Prime. Would u recommend them ?
I actually would. You know they are maintained and they didn’t go over 65 so less stress and they have APU’s.
@@ridingwithkev5560 thanks I was thinking the same
I'm interested of how this turns out for ya man. I to have thought of making a switch from the Conestoga to something else i got a call from a broker yesterday about end dumps put me to thinking ma man lol. Can't wait to see the adventure
I'll keep ya posted. As of right now its just temporary to get through the winter and set up for next spring.
