So can a portable polariscope function like a dark field loupe?
I need video about all types of synthetic corundum and how recognize them. I need to figur out one sapphire, it is pretty large (53,72 ct,). It has straight grows lines and one large fingerprint. On the label is written Sri Lanka. At first glance, it looks natural... however, except of fingerprint looks suspicious ( no other inclusions are visible )... now I think the sapphire is maybe Chatham's synthetic...Really I dont know, I am little bit lost! :) Video can help! Thaaanks!
Hi! The webinar that will be posted on Friday will be on synthetics so this will likely help! This is a HUGE subject and experience of seeing synthetics is key to help you identify :)

Good morning can you some body pay stones miss Julia
I have found some beautiful and very large raw, Natural stones that I found in a farm field when I was taking my dog for a walk looking for some deer and coyote tracks. I brought them home and cleaned them up. They were so pretty, so I decided to take them to a local jewelry shop to see if they were real diamonds. 💎 The lady there tested them and confirmed that they are indeed real diamonds . I did some research and found that the location in which I found them is likely to contain diamonds. Do you know who would like to purchase my diamonds? I am having a hard time finding someone to buy them and have little money to have further testing.. I appreciate ur time and expertise.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Jurk
