It’s tech that allows us to warp almost anywhere you want and duplicate tokens. Any% is largely repeating a level until we have enough tokens to unlock guitar. It’s complicated. On. GameCube/PS2 it involves memory cards and is a lot harder. Xbox’s version involves filling up the internal storage until there’s just enough room to make one save file and then after that it corrupts
