Damn. Not epic games teasing us, bringing back Midas with an entire potential storyline and potential to be a season, just to remove him.
Oml I thought he would bring us back to chapter 2😢 he def got the ending he deserved though. What a legend.
I also thought that meoscles and fishtisck would fight. So much potential😢
I bet he will make a comeback because he could be going back to ch2 as Fortnite OG does return again this year and it might be ch2 so it makes sense if Midas is going back to ch2 to fix something or maybe Midas is going to ch6 because one of ch6's main characters might be Midas or maybe Midas is going to Open World

The event was very underwhelming honestly. Like the guy never became a boss and on top of that he leaves after just 1 week. They did him and the whole player base dirty.

Epic wouldn't really bring back such a charactet just to remove him for good never to return.
The Midas NPC was added in v29.01 if I remember correctly as I remember he was in v29.01 which was when the Midas event started the NPC got updated in v29.10 though where instead of selling an Epic Drum Gun he sold the mythic Drum Gun but his look and I think his name was also updated from Ascendant Midas to Shade Midas where you could see a little bit of green from the shade style of Ascendant Midas however not all of Midas was green that might have been a glitch
During lockdown the Midas season had such a unique vibe, Epic had the perfect opportunity to bring people back to one of the only good parts of an era that seamed like hell.

I don’t think Midas is leaving for good. I think he’s gonna come back at the end of the season and there will be a live event. I think he’s leaving the island to plan with the crew and then will make a return soon.

What if Midas and his crew had gone to search a new island and then next chapter we go to that island to see ghost and shadow fighting against some enemy or themselves?
i mean the problem is it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for that kratos to come in this season since that kratos that is shown and has been in the item shop took place in the norse mythology timeline, if they made a green kratos with a blades of chaos whip pickaxe similar to ghost riders, a fury or wing glider from the 3rd game, blade of olympus as a backbling that would be really cool and make more sense

@@FortFan-di2ez I would sure hope that is the case. I never had the chance to play chapter 2 season 2 because I didn’t have anything to play it on at the time so I missed out. I was really excited about the rise of Midas event but was disappointed, at least the skin was good.

Tbh the water bending mythic is kinda underwhelming, it has low fire rate and mediocre at best damage where it only really shines at the healing in water besides mixing it with the hell water in grim gate and under world and the extra speed and dashes not alot of potential can be sued to make this worth wild

Well it seems like he has returned from the dead.
Theres a location with tons of chapter 4 props, a portrait of him, speakers playing chapter 4 season 4 music etc.
Which is, an interesting turn since he had a plan with the "world collide" event in season 5.
Now that hes seemingly still alive, it could be that he still has his time machine, since were in another timeline rn.
