I find it odd how people say If a zombie apocalypse happened. It can't happen. For many reasons. It's just not scientifically feasible to have dead bodies walk around for that long while also somehow being infectious. Real disease is more likely to be a major threat to us.
Seriously though, I love Luisa. As a larger trans woman of color, it is so validating to see her and see how loved she is by most people. It was the moral boost I needed
I’m just glad buff girls are allowed to be seen finally and not depicted as scary angry monsters. Trans or cis it’s great all body types are being normalized in media.
And they kept Luisa as femininely dressed too! There's just always been an association that if you're muscular, you somehow "lose" your ability to still present and be feminine (however you define that). My dressing sense as a muscular cis female is neither traditionally masc nor femme, but I'm sure this was extremely validating to those who are muscular, but also femme. Love Luisa
For those who didn't recognize the name, Noelle Stevenson (IKEA dresser winner) was the show-runner for the recent She-Ra and the Princesses of Power series. So all those Adora/Catra memes -- they're her fault. 😁
I'm naturally built like Luisa. I'm a big tank enby lady that's built like a brick wall. It's nice to see not only someone like me but people liking her just as much as the classically pretty people.
Just saying, I'm a tiny afab enby hobbit, and I LOVE women who are twice my size. Strong women are gorgeous, tall women are gorgeous, curvy women are gorgeous, all of the above together and I'm smitten. You're all amazing!
Honestly, OT being a huge lesbian supporter is just SO freaking nice. Something about a straight man just going "YES" when seeing cute lesbians is so wholesome. You go, man. I hope you and your Gf have as wonderful of a time as all the girls in the posts you read.
@@Marcos_Hat Honestly, that's really not okay to say. If a guy said that he wanted to kill women (which e.g. incels do), it's not funny either, even if said as a joke. Tw s**cide: I saw a thread on RUclips of a cis boy a while back who hated himself because everyone else seemed to hate him (parents wanted a girl), and he mentioned committing non-alive a lot while telling his story. At some point he stopped replying. I just saw this a few weeks after his last comment and posted the number of the American s**cide prevention hotline, but he never responded, and I just really hope that he didn't do it. I was so worried, and I still think about it. We shouldn't hate boys and men for being cishet :(
Sometimes when I begin to doubt my lesbianism, I just remember the time I was introduced to my crush by a friend and she complemented my eyes and I almost passed out. gotta love a good gay panic.
Regarding the first one; I briefly worked as a bartender at a student bar. I'm a trans man. This gang of girls came up to the bar to order, they all looked stunning, so I told them "hey, I think all your looks are on point tonight!" These girls made it their life mission to SHOWER my androgynous flustered ass with compliments about how good *I* looked in the five minutes they were at the bar. ... That was two years ago and I still think of it daily.
I absolutely adore that thing where they take the "not like other girls" memes and make them girlfriends (Anyway there's a subreddit for that and it's called r/gatekeepingyuri)
Ironically, girls who post these "not like other girls" memes unironically are the faceless mass in those memes, rather than the unique ones, because they obsess so much over fitting into a niche (being not conventionally girly) rather than just living their lives.
Luisa. The large strong woman who runs a major household or farm has been a thing all my life. They appear even in fairy tale illustrations, usually with a layer of fat to disguise it, but they are the 'mama bears' that TVTropes talk bout.
How my girlfriend and I started dating we were in call (we had both been friends for over a year now and had been talking a lot over the summer) with another friends. We were flirting back in forth without realizing it and out friends asked "Why are you guys like this?" and my girlfriend replied "Lesbian love," and just silence. Turns out we had been unknowingly flirting for a while and started dating shortly after. "Lesbian love," had become an inside joke in our friend group.
As a cis-het male, I can absolutely say for certain: Lesbians got it figured out waaay better than we do. You need relationship advice? Ask the lesbians (or a trans couple, theyre pretty good too). Also holy shit why can yall be so much cuter and get away with it too
Heres a tip: don't be afraid to confront your partner if they've done something wrong, just make sure they always have a chance to explain. and treat your partner like you treat friends, you don't have to be the best version of yourself at all times infront of them, that includes jokingly insulting them, also your first date does not have to be a dinner date. Sorry if it wasn't that helpful
Before I realized I was trans, I thought I was just a lesbian because I wanted a relationship like theirs. Turns out I'm just fucking jealous of how sweet some lesbian couples are : ')
Reminder that all of y'all are valid and deserve to be happy, even if you are gender nonconforming, you're valid. Stay safe, eat food, drink water and get sleep.
When I learned that Emily Dickenson was an independent woman who lived with her parents and locked herself into her room, I kinda figured she wasn't straight. Google didn't give me a straight answer about that, either, though.
As an aro ace person, I'm always expected to hate romance and relationships and stay single forever. While that is completely badass and valid, I personally love cuddles and most romantic things! In fact, I have a girlfriend and she's wonderful. I will never understand what a crush feels like, but I can definitely understand the longing to have someone to cuddle in a library with.
To me, a biromantic Ace, it feels like the same fascination and heart filling feeling as looking at puppies and wanting to keep them.... but the feeling is aimed at a person and every little thing they do is cute to you. From the way they smile to the way their hair swishes when they turn to the way they snore when they sleep. And you just wanna hold and keep them close forever.... just like adorable puppies and kittens!!! At least... that's a crush for me. I don't know what sexual attraction feels like tho.
@@OriginalCreatorSama Your description is very heartfelt and sweet but I'm sorry, I really hate when people talk about how crushes feel. The way her long, majestic hair flutters in the wind! Everything about her is perfect! I must be attracted or something!" Nope, just jealous that I wasn't her!
Oh no, I've had this exact feeling before so many times. I already had an existential crisis over my sexuality, and then an existential crisis over death I can't have another crisis over my gender broooo😭😭
As a woman loving (gender not found) I WISH have Lisa as a partner, not only because BIG MUSCLE LADY but also because she's an absolute peach and definitely gives the best cuddles, but I gotta admit I also fell for Dolores, Punk Isabella, and Bruno
I thought the success of She-Ra would tell people that people like ladies big AND small, Luisas and Isabellas. Slim kitty Catra? Yes. Big cinnamon roll Scorpia? ALSO yes.
Even as a kid, I always wanted to be a lesbian. I know I'm AMAB, so being with girls is "normal", but it still never felt right to be a straight guy. Something about lesbisn relations always felt so full of love, and passion and a certain rightness to it I could never put into words. To no ones surprise, I'm trans (well, fluid anyway) but I'll always mourn not being able to grow up as a girl and experience the life of a sapphic girl discovering herself.
When I was a kid this girl said that she was going to call me “Penny” because she said I looked more like a Penny than a Mattie (my name). So I went by Penny for a while after that (it’s a nickname for me in my current friend group in college because of that story lol)
Reminds me of this time that someone on my school newspaper said I looked more like a Suzan and started calling me that, and the majority of the class thought my name was actually Suzan for the whole year. When they wrote the list of people who worked on it in the back, mine actually said [my name] AKA Suzan

I came to the realization recently that growing up I was attracted to men that looked stereotypically more feminine by society’s standards ie long hair, slender with little muscle, clean shaven. As I got older I convinced myself that this wasn’t true. Now that I see all the toxic masculinity/heteronormative/cis culture I realize that I’ve also been attracted to people who would be under the non-binary umbrella and that I also was one of those people. The gay group is names from the Tarot Deck of cards, it’s so cute when things go over One Topic’s head.
The "straight friend group" is absolutely on point. The "gay friend group" is missing one thing... Kyle. Way to leave me out, internet. Also, ouch, OT.
I went to a con with my parents once. Somehow my mom found an area in the far corner where the authors were. Not manga just books. She pulled me over to a stall and said hey I think you would like this book. I have read that book over 100 times. It’s my favorite. She gets me a book every year for Christmas. Even if I’ve read it before I love each one. She’s precious
I'm the queer, non-binary Anti (how we spell Auntie, thanks to one niece's cute spelling mistake), who always finds people the books they need. Most recently it was the young readers' edition of "I Am Malala" for my 10 yr. old budding activist niece's birthday. It took a while for her to read it, but she was gushing afterward about how inspired she was by Malala's story, and her work. For her little sister, it was the late, great Terry Pratchett's "The World Of Poo". She didn't put it down for weeks. I'm lowkey proud to be that relative, who finds the books that fit people, especially the niecelings!
As a trans guy, I came to support OT and all the lesbians out there. Read the post about the library date and wondered who I'd do it with. Ended up realising that I'm kinda bi/pan hahaha

How I feel about the whole 'sexuality is fluid' thing: Sexuality is like a glass of water... sometimes it changes shape pretty easily if you put it in a different container. But some people never have to put it in a different container, so it never changes, and that's okay. :3
I am constantly trying to get my nieces and nephews to read more and have been trying to get myself back into reading more, too. Its very hard to get back into it if you've stopped for awhile. But I just finished the first two books in the Wayward Pines trilogy and am halfway through book three and I just borrowed a book from one of the mini libraries in my neighborhood that was written in Victorian times and republished, etc about a young girl who's going to college and has to put up with snobby rich families' daughters that say things like "I can't believe she has the audacity to look ugly and poor in our presence! I loved her character as well.
Love Luisa
Lusia isn't trans, explain? I don't get it

Regarding the first one; I briefly worked as a bartender at a student bar. I'm a trans man. This gang of girls came up to the bar to order, they all looked stunning, so I told them "hey, I think all your looks are on point tonight!"
These girls made it their life mission to SHOWER my androgynous flustered ass with compliments about how good *I* looked in the five minutes they were at the bar.

That is an absolutely amazing anecdote and I hope you two the best.
That's absolutely amazing.

It's not that I think it's gross or anything like that, it just makes me feel super dehumanized and awful about myself. I know it's wrong to tell people not to gush about it -and I usually don't say anything- but it makes me feel like an alien and I already struggle with derealization so it just adds onto that. When my mom gives us books as presents, she writes a nice little note to us on the inside of the book (inside of the cover or on the copyright page). I think this is a tradition she's picked up from her parents and I love it. I'm going to carry on the tradition :)
Aw my mom does the same for me :)
Once when I was like 12 she gave me a book called 100 Nights of Hero
It was about two lesbians telling stories about how amazing women are
Highly suggest it
(Also I don’t think she meant to give her sheltered 12 year old a book with cursing and lesbians lmao, I definitely enjoy it a lot more now that I’m older)
fun fact: sloths are so slow moss and algae can grow on their furr making green sloths and it's the cutest thing ever you should see the pictures
also: snow leopards love munching on their fluffy tails for some reason. their tails are so long that they can basically nom their tail while walking
also also: raccoons.
