When I make stuff I always have to plan it out very meticulously. I watch all these other guys out there who just get on with making stuff. Not everything needs a lot of planning but it's hard to fight your nature.
Neat idea, well executed. Minor item: the u bold cable clamps were put on backwards. The saddle of the clamp should be on the "live" end of the line. "Never saddle a dead horse."
Better make sure it's the right way. With all that high stress tourque and tention from the wiper motor... you could have a major catastrophic failure.. 🤣😂😁😀😎
Glad to see you’ve gotten a ‘hammer’, instead of that claw hammer you always used. How about a limit switch on the face of the door to prevent smashing someone? I like how you repurpose things, keep’em coming.
Awesome to see that device/tool work, I bought one similar to that (smitty built) and the tool set was crap! They send me another one and same thing! I had to use two wrenchs and that actualy works better just tough on the hands
Subukan mo gawan ng remote control next either via app or bluetooth. Pano kaya kung all-steel gate, anong motor ang pwedeng gamitin as actuator, and pano kung swing-type?
@Добрый Человек Ok, I got the gist of that especially about gear ratio, other videos showed using a angle grinder head for that and a starter motor for torque. Thanks for your input.
If it cuts power via limit switch it would mean EVERYTIME someone will have to push the door back enough to DISENGAGE the limit switch HENCE the edit between opening and closing in the video. A simple spring in a looping wire will fix it and also keep tension in the wire.
Wowoh seems like you have the same idea as of mine coz am 🤸using the machines as enginee of toy's car that are capable of carrying two to three charldren
not that it is critical in this application but you have the cable clamps on backwards, the dead end of the cable should be clamped by the u bolt part.
What about a wiring schematic? Also if it was a low voltage DC system could have backup in case of power outage and also for just a few more dollars make it Wireless nice work Buddy!
U don't have kids, who could stay between the door and the wal while closing? Think of electrical car windows, which have a safety function for this purpose.
Very cool idea, and great fabrication work. I'd like to see more details on how you used the relays to kick it on and off from the limit switches. It looks like the cable is looser in the final video than when you tightened it at first. Was there too much strain for the motor to move it with a lot of tension on the cable?
@@digambertawde4353 - Having designed and built such systems, I can tell you it's a bit more complicated than that. The DC motor needs to have power polarity reversal capability to control direction of rotation and the relays need a lockout feature so that if both relays are accidentally activated at the same time it is impossible to short out the power supply.

Great time lapsing the video to make it watchable. Everyone should emulate this job.

Thanks, didnt get what never saddle a dead horse means, after looking it from google now i understand how to put them properly.

Right said Fred!
Great design! The cable tensioner is perfectly simple!
That's another cool use for a wiper motor ... totally awesome
Nice mechanism bro.
Happy New Year 💥
Thanks bro happy new year din.
Now, one sonoff with remoute and it's perfect! Nice ideea! 👍
Nice build with minimal tools
Love this channel.
Pick yourself up a 5" portable bandsaw, makes cutting thick steel plate easy.

Love the ingenuity, guessing that cable won't last long but you could always redesign some things
nice build , for security you can add a pair of photocell , and a spring to tension the cable .

Awesome dude. Real handyman!
Very nice project. It isn't really gearless because the gears come with the motor in the case. But it's true there's no additional gearing is needed.
Wow, it's still super warm in Austria 😳
Fantastic work, dude! Really well done!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
If it's automatic, you might need sensors for somebody that might get caught in the middle while it's closing.
Nice trick. 👍👍👍👍👍
Install overload contractor. (Protect)
That is why he loosened the wire so that the pulley could slip in case of obstruction.....
Very good 😊 I like it,,, 👍 thanks
Very Nice. Well done!

Perfect, But what about in power failure.
You use your hand 👌
Just have a 12 volt battery as a back-up.

@Fred Wills so definitely nothing like a (momentary micro limit switch). Thanks. Happy new year 👍
Hello, I want you to explain about the delivery of the relay, or if you have a picture showing the method of delivery
cool project sir, awesome and how many rpm are used on the wiper motor, i have high torque wiper 24v 30 rpm , can be use?? thx
Great! how much the weight of gate?
love you gaes❤❤❤❤❤
Perfect ❤️👍🏻👌
Nice one

Should have a pica pen for marking all those holes :-) I use one, many times per day, refill with Edding T25 ink
Hi, Would you please make a vedio on simple manual perforated machine for thin metal sheet (0.3 mm) with flexible die size, than can be changed.
Can we operate manually if the power is not available( Power failure time) ?
Awesome!
Wowoh seems like you have the same idea as of mine coz am 🤸using the machines as enginee of toy's car that are capable of carrying two to three charldren
how about a quick release in case the power goes out

You need an outside access switch, with security. But nice setup.

Will it work manually when motor power switched off?
what about power supply...what did use for it
What about the Dancing Girls at the end? Where did that go??!

I loosen it a little for safety purpose, when someone accidentally be wedge in the motor pulley and the cable will just slip.
It's simple logic use 1 no and 1 nc in series...

Rope clips are installed wrong. Saddle goes on live end. “Never saddle a dead horse”.
just for laughs guess i'll just mention its not gearless....gears are in the wiper motor.....
