  • I enjoy wider cuts, more primitive hooking with wider strips. But in this video, I show you how I use some of the smaller finer cuts that I have inherited.

    As a novice rug hooker I was wondering about using different cuts on the same rug. Some aspects of the rug are more detailed. I’m thinking this little video answered my guestion. Thank you so much!

    Beautiful palette….im working in a similar hue on my Gee’s Bend….after 26 of hooking I’ve now decided using other people’s stashes that they no longer want in any cut makes for a more dimensional and interesting piece…..lots of times I double up the 3’s & 4’s
