Once I went to a theater camp that lasted a week and a half. (BY THE WAY, THAT WAS THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE THAT PLACE WAS A LIVING NIGHTMARE!) I told the counselor on the first day: "Hi! My names Marley." and she said: "Nice to meet you Molly.". People think its Molly about half the time, but usually get it right like the second time, so I figured I would wait until someone looked at the signup sheets or something and realize what my name was, or realize it on their own. THE ENTIRE CAMP OF 40 KIDS AND 5 COUNSELORS THOUGHT MY NAME WAS MOLLY FOR THE FIRST FIVE DAYS. They didn't look at the sheet again for five days. FIVE DAYS. No one was even sorry either by the end of the day I was known as Marley again. I swear I could of said my name was anything that started with a 'm' or maybe a 'n' and they would have believed me.
Forgot to mention! The next year I took a sailing camp, and told everyone my name. BUT FOR SOME REASON LITERALLY EVERYONE THOUGHT MY NAME WAS SOOO HARD TO REMEMBER THAT THEY HAD TO CALL ME SOMETHING ELSE! Long story short I was known as Merriweather the entire week.

I’ve experienced people adding a “th” out of nowhere for my middle name. Faye not Faith. I don’t use it often but I feel like I have to spell it every time. Or hold out the last letter.

So my name is Kelsy, and when people write down my name they always spell it like Kelsey (which Is the most common, but understandable when they spell it like that), Kelsi, and once Kelsie lol.

Once I went to a theater camp that lasted a week and a half. (BY THE WAY, THAT WAS THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE THAT PLACE WAS A LIVING NIGHTMARE!) I told the counselor on the first day: "Hi! My names Marley." and she said: "Nice to meet you Molly.". People think its Molly about half the time, but usually get it right like the second time, so I figured I would wait until someone looked at the signup sheets or something and realize what my name was, or realize it on their own. THE ENTIRE CAMP OF 40 KIDS AND 5 COUNSELORS THOUGHT MY NAME WAS MOLLY FOR THE FIRST FIVE DAYS. They didn't look at the sheet again for five days. FIVE DAYS. No one was even sorry either by the end of the day I was known as Marley again. I swear I could of said my name was anything that started with a 'm' or maybe a 'n' and they would have believed me.
Forgot to mention! The next year I took a sailing camp, and told everyone my name. BUT FOR SOME REASON LITERALLY EVERYONE THOUGHT MY NAME WAS SOOO HARD TO REMEMBER THAT THEY HAD TO CALL ME SOMETHING ELSE! Long story short I was known as Merriweather the entire week.
