I remember buying this on cassette single from a record shop in St Albans. My cousin bought "Saved The World Today" by Eurythmics. From that i deduce that it must have been early October 1999. I'd just turned 15.
Really THREE 👎. What is wrong with you people. And yes, I bought the original vinyl single in the late 70's by Judie Tzuke. Loved that then, but love this version too. WONDERFUL.
Charly - No, there was never a Lucid album release. There was one further release called 'Out There', but it never got pass the Promo stage. - www.discogs.com/artist/4535-Lucid
where is all the lucid stuff? Was there never any unreleased songs that could be uploaded? did everyone just say see you later to each other, seems to be no story online

still amazing after all this time...
Loverly rendition of the song...but personally I much prefer the original Judie Tzuke one!
You and I both - the source material runs circles around this - even with the effort of putting a string section in!

Same as JX aka Jake Williams did just five tracks under that monicker and that was it, then Rex The Dog was born.
Is very flat compared to the original by Judie Tzuke.
Awful, they should be jailed for this.
🤣 A bit extreme but it honestly did not do such an incredible original justice!!!
