Enough to make me stop dead for a minute or two and later I found out I was bleeding a little, but I didnt think much of it at first. It happened all the time. A few hours later I started getting a headache and felt a little disoriented. By a day or two later I was in the hospital because my world had turned upside down. Like I said, luckily for me it was only post concussive syndrome and it only lasted around 2.5 weeks, but holy shit... it's so hard to comprehend just how vulnerable your brain really is in there. I couldn't finish a sentence without forgetting what I was saying... I never really knew what time it was... I would recognize people but couldn't remember their names... I never stuttered before but now I do occasionally... the biggest thing was I had crazy insomnia my whole life until that happened and for a few years after that I could fall asleep at any time of the day. Job fucking fired me and never paid the workers comp. I was there for roughly 10 years. Denied me food stamps, too. Said I quit for no reason, but told worker comp they fired me. It was a whole thing. My depression and anxiety came back full force when that happened. Took years to get over what they did. Anyway... idk why I'm just sitting here rambling on a random comment. I guess that was just really sad to hear about her. That's awful.

You see, in the studio they made lots of retries and naturally placed the best one on the album :) She had this one flow she caught once, it got recorded, it's freakin' epic and you can find it on the album. Treasure it, that kind of control over your chords in such an energetic and beautiful yet disturbing way doesn't happen every day. ;)

Wow! I loved it! Songs are different played live especially with Deftones. When she went screaming like that, it gave me the chills and it even sounded scary like someone suffering but it just made it better that way. I remember wishing to hear Chino sing as close as possible to how he did on the records but he barely does. He changes it up a bit every time and that's what makes their performance special. Definitely not a band for everyone but it's ok. My favorite band! Nice to see MrVersanique!

When I first heard her part on that album when it came out, I was taken aback and wasn’t a big fan. Over the years I’ve have grown to love it and this live rendition was even more haunting than the album version.
I can understand why everyone is bagging on Rodleen. It sounded out of key. But they probably didn't rehearse it and was a last minute thing, who knows. Plus, this was probably the first and only time performing it live with them, give her a break. Gotta love the passion that she gave to the performance though.

A problem with this is it picks up a lot of screams from the crowd, so you can't hear her as well as one at the actual show/from a better recording would. You end up hearing screaming from fans that aren't trying to hit notes, aren't trying to emote anything...basically just screams that aren't trying to do anything but scream out loud. All of you judging this, do you judge songs when you can't hear them properly at all? Well, maybe you do...but you shouldn't. And PS - YOU try doing better!
