Wow! I’m sorry that you already lost your turbo. Hopefully you will come back even stronger. On a DynoJet I hit 453whp 512wtq on stock turbos E40 fuel. No port injection or meth. No custom tune.. just JB4/MHD BEF Map 7.
Hey, just a quick heads up, I ran into a couple small issues with my on3 kit and the precision 6466. I figured a solution out for them however. The one issue I ran into was the compressor cover rubbing on the hood and valvecover at the angle the on3 downpipe puts it at. Im in the process of having the downpipe modified so I can change the angle of the turbo.
What did you have as your outcome My on3 downpipes about to get a precision vband welded to it and I’d like to know if there’s something I can do that’ll help while I’m in fabricating process
To put a precision on that on3 manifold… mine was too tight and wouldn’t work right, it’ll leak exhaust at the outlet cause the vband doesn’t line up since it’s bigger and it rubs on the valve cover. Most likely it’s just that my kit was a little too tight… might as well let y’all know. A better explanation is that since the cold side on a s cover compressor is bigger it’ll hit the valve cover. That’s going to rotate the turbo on the inlet vband making the downpipe not line up. An e cover compressor will work good and if you get the 1.05 ar you’ll flow enough for those 700whp you want
Awesome man thanks for that info!! Definitely helps me out...had no idea what those ar measurements are or what cover I need. Still wandering what the biggest size that will fit is...64...or 67mm
I run a 6266 on my on3 manifold, with some finness u can make it work but i can literally barley slide a piece of paper between the compressor and valve cover. The vband worked but it was a pain and it does have a tiny exhaust leak that could be fixed with some slight modification to the downpipe. You could definitely fit a 64 or even a 67 with some slight modifications. Ppl have done it b4
Those On3 turbos are China junk. Poorly made and as you can see...don't last long if you run them hard. I haven't opened the turbo up because it's pointless.....putting on a precision 6466 gen2.
@@335iN54Enthusiast also going with a 6466 gen 2 bottom mount setup from doc racing for my 335is. Been told they spool just as quick as the 6266 when properly tuned. How is the BMS port injection manifold holding up? likely to be going that route as well.
In your opinion what wheel horse power/torque do you think the N54 with stock internals can handle for the long term? For example, do you think an engine with 50k miles would make it another 50k while making 650whp?
@@335iN54Enthusiast damn that’s impressive and good to hear! I’m waiting on Speedtech to release their top mount single turbo kit. It’s suppose to come out in October. Otherwise I am running FBO with the same port injection as you. I’m planning on running a precision 6266 turbo targeting around 650whp. And by the way nice job on the videos, haha I only wish you could film and use two hands at the same time.
Nice pulls. Slap on the Precision 62 or 6466 GEN 2 & be done with it, mate.
Yeah for sure...I'm hoping I can do 67 or that might be too large casing I'm not sure.

def a clean build! did u get the kit second hand or did you order it from a website?
Thanks. Got it from the website... New.
@@335iN54Enthusiast Hi Beautiful car as always, Any update on this? What actually failed in the turbo?

Nice. The manifold is awesome bud!
I was expecting more than that, usually with 26 pound in a single turbo will get you around 600hp, it is time for a gen 2. Best of luck
This is very cool
Are you on still on the Jb4 Bef or did you get a custom tune?
Doc Vu tuned

Isnt it better to stick to twin turbo? Love from England
Absolutely not.
@@335iN54Enthusiast how many hours will it take to fix your single?
A few hours. I'm waiting for my Precision 6466 turbo which will be a few weeks.
@@335iN54Enthusiast can I have your old 61mm since you are upgrading...lol
Sure $200.
What octane?
108 ish
needs better audio. Great video nonetheless.
