A few things: It’s Sydnie, not Sydney (that helps when people search). Judges only give Golden Buzzers in auditions. This was the finals. Sydnie only had 3 days between the semifinals and the finals , so the producers suggested she sing this arrangement of Over The Rainbow, using Loren Allred’s soundtrack from earlier this year. You can actually hear Loren’s version play after Sydnie sang Tomorrow in her audition. Loren is also Sydnie’s idol, so that’s why Sydnie really felt the song was personal to her. Don’t miss Tomorrow from her audition and My Way from the semifinals.
