    Thank you for the review! I was a bit skeptical about whether or not to get the glasses(since they're expensive and I wasn't sure if they were even going to do anything) but it seems pretty legit and worth a shot. For me, fluorescent lighting normally results in migraines, nausea, and dissociation so it is NOT fun being in school for 7 hours everyday. Especially since the side effects linger for hours afterwards too. I really really hope these glasses help me because tbh I really hate being in pain haha.

    I get headaches and migraines from florescent and natural lighting, because it can get so bad I have had to start training my medical alert service dog into a guide dog for when that happens I loose almost all my vision and it gets terrifying I am currently a high school student so I am around florescent lighting for at least 8 hours a day. I was in class yesterday with my service dog and I began to cry because of how intense the migraine was I was shaking and the student teacher in the classroom had to help me to the nurses office she had to carry my bags for me while my service dog guided me. I have not had a migraine that bad in at least a month. Im going to try out a few of the glasses you have recommended including these and the somnilight ones.

      Thanks for the info. Are all SomniLights glasses red? I have BluBlockers which are amber. they helpe me indoors. I ordered both red and amber (yellow) cellphane roll, like for gift wrapping and I have 2 sheets on top of my computer screen. I will get instaneous migranines from LED lights and blue lights the computers give off. The amber worked for me on the computer (the sheets) but the red didnt. I noticed the glasses are red. Im going to research this a bit more and will let you know. Thanks!

    • @TheMigraineGuy
      @TheMigraineGuy  6 лет назад +1

      They have both red and amber. I have found them both to be equally effective. The red are nice when the migraine is really bad because they block lots of light, whereas the amber is better for day to day activities. :)

    • @barbj9785
      @barbj9785 6 лет назад +1

      Yes I think the red would be better when the migraine starts like you said. Thats when one needs the most protection. I am going to seriously look at this. I have BluBlocker but those arent as dark and I need more protection when the migraine hits (only due to certain lights) Thank you.

      Looks like what they sell on Amazon is just pink, but is fl41. They used to sell a wider variety on their website. I prefer SomniLight (I've done reviews on them tool. 1/2 the price and just as effective.

    Hello, I, unfortunately, am photophobic - a term that I only just recently learned of after "trying" to convey to people that my eyes were so sensitive to light that it would drain my energy, give me a headache (which could work it's way into my neck), and give me the sensation of having to go straight to bed. My day would be shot at that point. It's something of a running joke to friends and coworkers in just how much of a relief it is when it's cloudy outdoors. Without meaning to write an extensive history of my medical background, I'll just sum it up and say that I've gotten the aura headaches since age nine or ten. Thankfully, after three surgeries throughout the years for a vp shunt, they're rare now. Interestingly, the headaches have somewhat changed into pain in the back left of my head, my eyes, and neck (this sounds great doesn't it? ha) So, my question for you is that I was looking for some feedback on the TheraSpec glasses for effectiveness and sizing. They appear to be working well for you, and at a good fit proportionately, but I was wondering, have you tried the indoor version as well. Thanks for your help!

    • @TheMigraineGuy

      Hi Jason! I'm so sorry to hear about your battle with photophobia and headaches. In regards to TheraSpecs they certainly work well and look really slick. My personal preference for migraine relief glasses, tho, is a from a company called SomniLight. I have a video on them as well on this channel if you're interested. They cover more of your field of vision, are made from tough plastic, and give my viewers 10% off their already low price. You can check them out at: somnilight.ositracker.com/coupons/index/oid:52528_4557
